His past experiences working with high level athletes including Olympic athletes and NFL players during their preparation for the NFL combine and tryouts. Today Dan works for the Department of Orthopedics & Rehabilitation at the University of Rochester Medical Center. He started the program for the orthopedic department and is now the center’s first full time acupuncturist. Dan utilizes traditional styles of Acupuncture along with more recently developed motor and trigger points, and includes rehabilitation, orthopedic assessment, and sports medicine in his practice. In his spare time, Dan volunteers his acupuncture skills by treating at marathons, triathlons and major Crossfit events.

Acupuncture in Sports Performance with Dr. Neil Maki
