EP25: How Your Creativity Results in the Success of Your Business with Olga Pontes
“I realize that we’re not going to experience freedom, deep connection, and true passion in life by hiding who we are and the change we’re here to make in the world.” - Olga Pontes (10:41 - 10:51)Malorie Nicole Abundantly Clear You are programmed with inner creativity that can change the world. It’s driving you crazy. You feel angsty all the time like a high school teenager and hungry like a starving artist. You feel something creative growing and struggling to be unleashed from deep inside you. But you may feel scared to leave your nine to five job and figure it all out. Olga Pontes felt the same. Before Olga decided to create her branding business Branding Collective, she was a Plant Cell Biologist. Hours were spent tucked deep in a lab that provided a fantastic income, but little fulfillment to her soul. Olga enjoyed science but always had a passion for the arts. So, when she neglected self-care and expressing herself creatively, it came as no surprise that her mental health started spiraling downhill. The anxiety and panic attacks were the final indicators that Olga was quickly in need of a different outlet for creative expression. She quit the world of academia, returned to the arts as a Brand Designer and Strategist, and rediscovered something deep within her she had presumed was lost. Now, Olga aims to help clients like you find freedom in creatively expressing themselves fully through the art of branding. She believes the key to success is unleashing your creativity through positive mindset work. “So often anxiety is the suppressed emotion or creativity that we don’t know how to let out.” - Malorie Nicole (8:06 - 8:15) When you allow your creativity to run wild, you can become who you were meant to be. Begin by incorporating positive mindset work to relieve the angst inside you and cultivate change. Unleash your creativity by repeating these affirmations daily. “I am okay. I am enough.” It’s no secret everyone struggles with self-confidence issues. I mean, everyone. Especially when starting your own business, it’s easy to start comparing your success to others, and feel discouraged. But take heart! Your journey is different than others, but it should be. Your business and your life is meant to be unique. Trust that you are exactly where you need to be. If you haven’t found your flow, give it time. It will come. “I will not quit.” Instead of giving up, look around you! Give yourself permission to pull from another creative genius. Coaches, designers, and strategists will allow you time and energy to focus your gifts where they are best suited. You don’t have to figure everything out alone. Seek outside help to give you support and move your business towards success. “I create beauty.” Go ahead. Own it! What you create is something unique to who you are. Others can only create in your likeness, not exactness. Don’t be afraid to share what you have to offer! Aim to figure out what you like and what you do best, and stick with it to find your flow. “I am ready.” Let’s just let the cat out of the bag! Things will definitely go wrong on your journey. It is expected, but it doesn’t need to be dreaded. While you can’t control everything that happens to you, you can control how you perceive and handle your circumstances. Choose not to let any fears dictate your actions. Be willing to adapt and stay the course, whatever may come. You got this! “You can create as many different realities as you want. As long as your basic needs are covered, you can express and do whatever.” - Olga Pontes (12:22 - 13:04) As Olga transitioned from a structured scientific career to creative free flow entrepreneurship, her panic attacks disappeared. The anxiety, unfortunately, is still present, but the need for perfectionism is gone. The journey and design of your life are not meant to be perfect. Try not to be too particular but instead embrace mistakes as learning opportunities and not as defining moments. Allow you and your business to evolve as you overcome challenges and fine tune your preferences and likes. Repeat the affirmations above daily to continue building a deeper level of trust in yourself. I know you have what it takes. The question is, do you believe in yourself? When you stop hesitating and follow what feels right you move along much faster. You can start as soon as now! Unleash your creativity today to inspire change and reap success in your business! How to get involved Malorie has become an expert in helping people get out of their own way, so they can experience the abundance and freedom they were meant for. EP24: Overcoming Limiting Beliefs and Sharing Unforgettable Stories with Expert Copywriter and Client Sarah Temte
“Storytelling is the most powerful way to generate attention. Humans naturally want to hear about humans. We love being a fly on the wall in someone else’s life. We love finding ourselves in any story.” - Sarah Temte (5:53 - 6:11)Malorie Nicole Abundantly Clear You have to be confident and interesting to stand out from the ticker tape of endless advertisements, sponsors, promises, and offers. Whatever it is, you know you’ve got it. You have the passion, expertise, and drive. You’re on point with posting, emailing, and updating on the daily for your business. So why is no one knocking down your front door to work with you? Sadly, it’s possible your messaging is just not that interesting. Thankfully, my close friend and client, Sarah Temte, is here to help. At just twenty-three years old, Sarah is a successful copywriter and expert messaging strategist for service-based business owners. Coaches and consultants need their audience to believe in their magic before hitting the buy button. Sarah knows just the content and copy that will grab attention. “If people aren’t consuming your stuff, it’s not because their attention spans have died. Your stuff just isn’t interesting to them .” - Sarah Temte (21:32 - 21:40) In the world of marketing, bridging the gap between buyer and seller is built on the understanding that feelings matter. People are consuming more media than ever before. Day in and day out we are all exposed to an alarming rate of advertisements, sponsors, promises, and offers. To stand out you must forgo any ambiguity and get specific and intimate in your content and copy. You need to aim for the heart of those reading and listening. By tugging on the heartstrings, you pull your audience in emotionally to believe in what you have to offer Everything rests on the meet-cute. You have to be irresistibly interesting at the very beginning to grab attention for your brand. Here are a couple of key factors to help you stand out online: Show up in different ways in different areas of your life. We’ve all heard the phrase, “just be you.” But the truth is there is so much about you. Every individual has many colorful facets of their being. For example, the role you consume on date night will not be the same at work. In both cases, you are still your authentic self, but you’re fulfilling different and specific roles. It’s okay to expose these intricate levels of who you are and the various hats you wear. Choose to turn up the volume on your personality. Note to self, this doesn’t mean to turn up the frequency of your online presence. We have good and bad days. You don’t have to fake or force anything. Instead, when you decide to show up online bring all of you, your preparation, and readiness to pour into your audience. You want to bring your best hilarious, sassy, [insert adjective] self. Don’t be afraid to target an intended audience. If you’re speaking to everybody, you’re speaking to nobody. When you share in a more general manner you miss an opportunity to find your people. Be bold. Choose to create content and copy with a purpose. Keep in mind one person in your real life that represents your ideal avatar and direct all your communication at them. Share really specific stories. All marketing material should pass what Sarah calls the “Polaroid Test.” Every client should be able to pull a visual image and snapshot from whatever story you’re telling or concept you’re sharing. Even more so, you want to move the client in such a way that they feel something. Storytelling is the key. Don’t shy away from sharing. While every story may not resonate with your client, humans are very good at translating another’s pain and emotion. We all empathize and feel on incredibly deep levels. “What is the human connection that you’re making with your audience? When they’re reading what you’re writing and putting out there, how do they feel?” -Malorie Nicole (23:37 - 23:58) Generalized advertisements with special offers and empty promises are a dime a dozen. They roll off tongues so fast and inauthentically that potential buyers pass by without a second glance. Stories are the fishing lines that will help you seal the deal. They hook the client by latching on their heartstrings and reeling them in. While storytelling is key, every business owner has a different approach in how and when to cast their line. Contrary to popular belief, you do not need to walk in someone else’s footsteps. You can be a trailblazer. The approach you take in showing up online and marketing your brand should be unique. It’s okay to listen to your gut and color outside the lines. Aim to think on a larger scale beyond the strategies your fellow colleagues and competitors are exploring. Trust your instincts and allow your ideas to leap outside of any preconceived notions of “right” and “wrong.” You are on a journey to find what fits best in your lifestyle and reach your intended audience. Use the factors above to gain confidence in materializing and marketing content and copy that tugs at the heartstrings. When you allow yourself to be vulnerable in sharing who you are and what you’re all about, clients will be knocking down your front door. Show how truly interesting you are to make your brand unforgettable! EP23: How To Empower Yourself In Your Marketing
“In marketing, everything comes out of you knowing what you really want. You can’t find a strategy if you don’t know what the end goal or vision is.” - Rachael Welch (11:22 - 11:32)Malorie Nicole Abundantly Clear Four steps to developing your marketing strategy. Have you fallen down the rabbit hole in the online world of marketing? I know I have! Between sending weekly newsletters, keeping up on social media, and refreshing logos and photos, the list of things to do is neverending. Day in and day out there is always something new to learn and never enough available time. The information available on online marketing is so overwhelming that it is actually quite paralyzing. Rachael Welch, a close friend and marketing genius, understands the feeling all too well. As an online business and marketing strategist based in Tasmania, Rachael has witnessed a destructive pattern of entrepreneurs consuming information rather than utilizing their precious time creating a brilliant offer. “Am I taking what I’m learning, processing, and digesting to putting magic into the world by creating things? Or am I just storing it up?” -Rachael Welch (49:14 - 49:22) Entrepreneurs get so hung up on the algorithms and various cookie cutter strategies that they neglect actually doing anything. Rachael narrows down four steps to help you develop the best marketing strategy for your business. The key is identifying and building an offer too irresistible to pass up. Define your vision. Some entrepreneurs model and strategize based on someone else’s success. Those copycats are missing the point. A borrowed vision is not sustainable. You need to target the source of your energy to unveil your potential. What makes you happy? What do people around you need? Perhaps there is an intersection between the two? If you’re lucky enough to realize your gift meets a need then you’re in business! Otherwise, search for a problem that bothers you and aim to fix it. Prioritize quality over quantity. Keep it simple when creating additional products relating to your offer. Now that you have your vision stick to it. Don’t pump out any material for the sake of attention. All of the digital products and online courses you provide must add tremendous value to the client. If your business is service based, your cause is to produce information that will transform lives and spark change. Try out your material on a one-to-one basis to observe and ask for feedback. Remember the client dictates your success. Listen carefully! Take advertising with a grain of salt. Paid advertisements are not magic wands. I have nothing against them and recommend if you have the means definitely use them. But try not to compare the success of your promotion to others. Remember there are formulas and hidden factors at play. Take every view, website click, and interest as a win. There will be plenty of highs and lows. Analyze and convert all incoming data to adjust future advertising efforts. Never deviate from Step Number One. You will sadly be refused for other similar if not identical offers. It’s okay. Stand firm in your individualism. You will bring something unique and different to the table as long as you stay true to your principles. What you are selling will not be for everyone and everyone will not be a good fit for what you are selling. Be patient as you undergo a constant loop of experimentation and growth. Leave plenty of room for grace as you tweak what is and isn’t working along the way. To avoid disappointment, strive for progress over perfection. “Don’t be fearful of feedback and don’t strive for perfection.” - Malorie Nicole (40:50 - 40:53) If you’re not willing to adapt, you might as well throw in the towel now. Business is constantly moving. What you learn today in online marketing will most likely become outdated in a few years. Commit to being a continuous learner in reading and researching to gain more knowledge. Don’t just consume, create! Put into action all you learn by identifying your offer and building a marketing strategy true to your principles. Your plan doesn’t have to be bigger, better, or larger than the rest. As long as you continue to strategize from a place of authenticity and usefulness, you will succeed. EP22: The Resilient and Successful Mind
"Resilience is a characteristic that will get you wherever you want to go in life." -Malorie (2:07 -2:13) Malorie Nicole Abundantly Clear   You are a force of power that can change the world.   Yes, you read that right. YOU have the potential to make a difference. In fact, every human does. But I must warn you. The journey to claim this power is not for the faint of heart. You must be willing to go all the way no matter the circumstances. Resiliency is the only characteristic differentiating a successful entrepreneur from their competition. Those who consistently show up, try, fail, and try again are the ones who achieve long-term, sustainable growth. You may have the brains, looks, and talent. But when push comes to shove do you have what it takes to persevere? "It is not so much the circumstances that happen that are the problem. It is how we are experiencing, how we are living through it, and the grace that we give ourselves." -Malorie (3:12 - 3:24)When you recognize pushbacks as opportunities for growth, you begin to develop a resilient mentality on the road to an abundance. Take control by shifting your perspective and you will have the power to uncover the hidden benefits of mistakes, doubt, and competition.   Mistakes. Give yourself a creative platform on which to experiment and make mistakes. Your launch didn’t go the way you envisioned? It happens! It doesn’t necessarily mean it will happen again. Poor calculations and decisions are lessons in what not to do the next time around. Don’t let past mistakes prevent you from taking future risks. Rise above by allowing them to shape and mold you for the better.   Doubt. Others may doubt you, you may even doubt yourself sometimes. In case you have forgotten, you DO have what it takes to make your dreams come alive. As long as you identify and provide a service people need, they will pay for it. Stay calm during bouts of uncertainty when faced with questions of what is to come and how everything will pan out. You are not expected to have all the answers.   Competition. Since the market is so heavily saturated, it is inevitable you will be neck-and-neck with someone who offers a similar service or product. So what? Take the focus off what is beside you and become laser focused on what is in front of you. Hone in on your business to provide the highest level of quality to your clients from the highest version of yourself. When you allow passion to drive your momentum, nothing can stop, stunt, or derail you. The results will dazzle and spread as clients profess your handiwork like magic.   “You have all the power inside of you to deliver and create a successful business. It’s just a matter of whether or not you believe in it.” - Malorie (13:37 - 13:47) Magnificent possibility literally lies in your fingertips. Through the use of a cell phone, anyone can run a business and become a six-figure success overnight. The internet has made millions of resources and assets available at anytime anywhere. It has never been easier to become an entrepreneur. However, the course to stay an entrepreneur will always prove challenging. You can count on it.   It’s unrealistic to think everything will go your way every single day. Life is filled with unexpected turns, bumps, and roadblocks, some are bleak and others exciting. Your resiliency and how you handle these outside circumstances dictate whether you progress or digress. Don’t let them swallow you whole. Mistakes happen. Doubt is natural. Competition is inevitable. Just keep showing up and pushing on. Eventually, you will get to where you want to be. EP21: How Effective Communication Creates Less Stress and More Profit
“To set up relationships with clients that last a really long time, be honest about how you can help, and be honest about the expected results.” -Malorie Nicole (4:31 - 4:44)Malorie Nicole Abundantly Clear   Communication is the channel that maintains fluidity in business.   Honesty is the best policy. However, so many business owners fail to embrace their responsibility in addressing what is and is not possible. How many times for example, have you quietly nodded your head in agreement to aid a client in reaching what you know to be an unattainable goal? Agreeing to unrealistic expectations places such an unnecessary amount of pressure on yourself and sets your client up for disappointment. Avoid being at fault by establishing clear boundaries from the beginning. “Set yourself up for success by looking at where your client is when they come into your container.” - Malorie (3:17 - 3:30) When a client reaches out for your services, they are hoping and paying for your professional guidance. Rise to the occasion. It is your job as an expert in your industry to speak the truth even when it hurts. Listen with intention, but speak up and lasso certain expectations that seem too far fetched. It is okay to express what you can and can not deliver. Use these two questions to shed light on whether you are applying or preventing unnecessary pressure. Is this in my client’s best interest?  Is this in my best interest? By authentically answering these questions you can begin to address possibilities after laying a foundation of secure communication and trust. Next comes the building blocks.   Strategize for success with assessment tools and realistic goal setting.   When creating a system for onboarding clients, it is extremely helpful to have a tool in place to help identify where your client is in their journey the second they walk through your doors. This could be as simple as a detailed questionnaire asking for history and background. Distinguish and establish levels to set realistic goals, monitor change, and track progress. Your client will be excited and feel heard. You will feel comfortable in providing a practical service that meets the client where they are. With all the cards on the table, you and your client are now free from a world of unrealistic expectations. Self-sabotage is finally defeated, and platforms of failure can be avoided.   “Every business-client relationship is a two-way street.” - Malorie Nicole (5:31 - 5:35)   There are no free passes. You and your client each have responsibilities to fulfill. Both of you must commit to working hard in each designated role. One can not succeed without the other. This is just how it works! However, as with everything in life, results take time. Be patient and strive to stay on the same page. Don’t get discouraged when miscommunications ensue. No one is perfect. Strive your best to communicate and model honesty effectively. Then, sit back and recognize the decrease in stress and the increase in profits for you and your client, as abundant success rolls in. EP20: Resistance is Actually a Huge Benefit
“The only real failure happens when we stop creating.” - Malorie Nicole (1:14 - 1:26)Malorie Nicole Abundantly Clear   How to view resistance positively.   A frequent topic of discussion among entrepreneurs is how to deal with setbacks when establishing goals, and how to find the best way to move forward. Setbacks can present themselves in various ways. Maybe you’ve you’ve tried a new approach to acquiring clients, and it didn’t work out. Or, perhaps you’ve achieved financial success, but you’re not feeling fulfilled because of the way you’re running your business. We tend to view these situations as failures, and we think that we’ll never be happy and fulfilled no matter how hard we try. However, the resistance can be a huge benefit to you, and it can be the catalyst that puts you on the path that you’re meant to be on. “It’s about the process of creating something that fulfills you, brings you joy, and brings you the money that you want to make, but doing it from a place that feels like flow.” - Malorie Nicole (5:14 - 5:28)Instead of viewing certain situations as failures, a better perspective is to look at them as opportunities to explore. When we fall into the trap of defining every result as failure or success, we limit our creativity. A setback is not the final verdict on success or failure. It’s an opportunity to evaluate if you’ve created a life that's not only financially sustaining, but also if it’s bringing you the joy you want to feel every day. There is a connection between resistance and synchronicity. The only real failure happens when you quit and stop creating opportunities for yourself to grow. Fall in love with the process of what you’re trying to build, and try to explore and uncover the next growth piece for you. When you slow down and reveal the source of the resistance, you’ll create room for greater expansion in your life.We view a particular event as a failure because that’s how we define it. But what if there was no such thing as failure? When you look at everything from a perspective of synchronicity, then you’ll accept that some of the things you try will work, and others won’t. When something doesn’t work out, instead of thinking about it as a door that’s closing, think of it as the reason that you’ll discover many other doors that are now open. When you adopt the synchronicity mindset, you’ll realize those seemingly negative situations actually led you in the direction you’ve been aiming for the entire time. “It’s not just about achieving financial success, but it’s also about creating and feeling good while doing it.” - Malorie Nicole (10:07 - 10:16)   The next time something doesn’t go according to your plans, and you feel the resistance and stress, recognize it as a sign to explore. Maybe you’re experiencing success financially, but you’re not being honest with yourself about how you feel about the work, or you haven’t set up the right boundaries with clients. Perhaps you need to explore new creative elements that you haven’t tried before. Your path will always be unique, regardless of the type of business you’re in. Your job is to explore and figure out how you can live happily and express your unique gifts and talents to make the world a better place. EP19: Stress 101 - What's Really Happening When We're Stressed?
“Many entrepreneurs build businesses and find monetary success, yet they don’t feel happy and fulfilled.” - Malorie Nicole (1:53 -1:59)   “Hustle” mode is detrimental to your health and business.   Stress is one of the most under-discussed topics among entrepreneurs. When starting out, many people assume and accept that they’ll have to work long hours to get the business off the ground. However, many entrepreneurs find themselves stuck in “hustle” mode years later, still working nights and weekends. Maybe they grow the business and experience financial success, yet they remain unfulfilled. Lack of fulfillment often leads entrepreneurs to push themselves even harder, resulting in long-term stress that negatively affects different parts of their lives. “When feeling stressed, the body is basically telling itself that you’re out in the woods running from a bear, that you have no food, and that you’re in danger. The body doesn't know that you just read an email from a client.” - Malorie Nicole (5:56 - 6:19)   Stress is connected to the body and mind.   Our body is in a constant flow between our sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous system. When operating properly, this gives us the rush of adrenaline when we need in the face of danger, and then helps the body calm down when the danger has subsided. Constant stress impacts our body’s ability to oscillate between these two states.   When the body is relaxed, the parasympathetic system is active. In this state, a cranial nerve called the vagus nerve carries messages from the brain to various parts of the body and facilitates many vital bodily functions. The vagus nerve instructs the body what enzymes to produce, it regulates energy levels, and it communicates our rest and digestion status to the brain.   When you’re stressed, worried, or fearful, the sympathetic nervous system takes over, putting you in a state commonly known as fight-or-flight. The body assumes it is in danger and prepares for action by producing the hormones adrenaline and cortisol. Adrenaline elevates the heart rate and blood pressure, while cortisol curbs functions of the body that are not essential in a fight-or-flight situation, including the parasympathetic system.   The body can’t differentiate between the reasons responsible for the stress. So, an email from your client that you perceive negatively can cause your body to assume you’re in real danger and activate the sympathetic nervous system. Prolonged periods of stress have been linked to multiple health conditions such as decreased immune function, migraines, anxiety, and depression.   Helping your body to deescalate quickly is one of the best ways to avoid those health conditions and manage your stress effectively. Taking in deep breaths through the belly can help you reactivate the parasympathetic nervous system and restore a state of relaxation. “Our circumstances don't change, but the way that we perceive things allows us to change our behavior, and then we change our circumstance.” - Malorie Nicole (5:56 - 6:19)     Staying in a constant state of stress will wear your body and mind down, resulting in adverse health systems, and instability in your business and life. Learning to develop a positive outlook, clear mental blocks, and make the most of every situation can help foster longterm states of relaxation, and impact your health in a positive way. Health begets health. Operating from this state will lead to long-term business success.   How to get involved Connect with Malorie Nicole on Facebook or Instagram for more on the topic of becoming abundantly clear in your life and business. EP:18 Bring More Abundance Into Your Life by Doing This Thing!
“We are so accustomed to asking ourselves ‘how,’ but the real answers lie in the ‘why.’”  - Malorie Nicole (3:29 - 3:59)Malorie Nicole Abundantly Clear My intention for 2019 is to go all out in breaking the mold of the standard expectation of “hustle and grind” entrepreneurial thinking, and show others that people make more money and are far happier when they reprogram their beliefs and remove the real issues. It’s time to break out of the “hustle and grind” mentality of doing business. Abundance, fulfillment, and sustainable success lie outside of that constricting entrepreneurial box. The first step in gaining freedom from this mindset is to start asking yourself the right questions.“We spend far too much time in our business doing things because we’re told we have to.” - Malorie Nicole (7:28 - 7:32) How many times a day do you find yourself focusing on the ‘how’ of your business? How can I get my next client? How will I make more money? How do I compare to other entrepreneurs in my industry? It’s really easy to forget why we’re showing up for our business in the first place, and we can get trapped in the neverending hustle and grind hamster wheel. It’s time to start quieting the ‘how’ and begin to trust ourselves. When we are clear on the ‘why’ of our business goals, that passion will drive our ‘how.’ The next steps in your path will be clear because you will allow yourself to ask the important questions. “Followers mean nothing if you don’t know why they are there in the first place.” - Malorie Nicole (4:28 - 4:32) Take some time this week to reexamine your ‘why.’ What were the driving forces that led you to start your business in the first place? Chances are, coming back to that passion will give you the energy to continue showing up for your business and for your clients. EP17: Time is the Most Expensive Currency of All
“Time is the most expensive currency we have.”—Malorie Nicole (0:55-1:00)   Sacrificing your time, health, and relationships for the sake of your business can be a big mistake. This is especially true for new entrepreneurs who haven’t had the chance to learn the most valuable lessons in achieving long-term success.   Being able to step away from your work enhances productivity and helps you reach your personal and professional goals. You get more out of life while experiencing the fulfillment you were looking for when you took the leap into starting your own business.   ”If you don’t value your time, you don’t value yourself.”—Malorie Nicole (3:14-3:21)   Too much work takes the fun out of life. Entrepreneurs can fall into the trap of prioritizing profit over time, freedom, and other forms of currency. The scarcity mindset that many people operate on is one of the most common causes of this pitfall.   A belief system rooted in scarcity can make you feel unworthy of getting the most out of your time. So entrepreneurs settle for something less and forget to give themselves permission to enjoy each day.   Very few people are able to work 12 hours a day while maintaining a balance between their business goals and their personal needs. They exercise and sleep less, skip meals, and let meaningful relationships fall by the wayside.   “More work doesn’t always mean more profit.”—Malorie Nicole (5:54-5:57)   Entrepreneurs have never-ending to-do lists they need to tackle. But learning how to value your time teaches you how to value yourself. There are some simple ways to implement a standard by which you operate each day.   In addition to stepping away from the work, you may need to slow down, reorganize your schedule, and outsource tasks that pull you away from the work that fulfills you most. When business owners put these and other strategies in place, they’re often surprised to see a dramatic increase in productivity and profit.   When you do the work you love in a way that values your time, you begin to work from a place of abundance instead of scarcity. EP16: Financial Freedom and Your Money Aura with Danetha Doe
“Money is energy. What we put into it is what we’re going to get out of it.” - Danetha Doe (2:36-2:42)   Facing your fears around money can be one of the biggest success challenges you face. Understanding your relationship with money is the first step to achieving a new level of financial freedom.   Danetha Doe helps clients reach their financial goals by transforming how they earn and manage their money. You can create positive energy around money and reward yourself for taking control of your financial destiny.     “The energy around the money that I’m projecting is exactly what I’m going to get back.” - Malorie Nicole (18:47-18:57)   When it comes to money, what you put into it is exactly what you get out of it. But many people struggle with this simple fact due to the financial traumas they’ve experienced in the past. This causes them to limit their opportunities and feel fear or shame around money.   Your relationship with money is a reflection of how you engage with other aspects of your life. If you learn to celebrate money, regardless of where you are now, then you’ll soon have more of it. Exploring your beliefs and emotions helps you make real and lasting changes. You become conscious of your financial health, which makes it easier to know what needs to change.     “Financial freedom is a journey of self-love. The more we put the energy of our money behind taking care of ourselves...we’re going to see that come back.” - Danetha Doe (19:19-20:16)   Having an “attitude of gratitude” is a powerful way to be financially abundant. It empowers you to take proactive steps in managing your finances instead of letting fear or shame keep you from achieving your goals.   The daily lives of business owners can change at any moment. But learning to take control of your money helps you navigate the unwanted surprises. In fact, you may be surprised when you do face your money fears and realize that you’re actually better off than you thought.   Learn to surround yourself with positive and empowering thoughts about money. The anxious energy that many people experience washes away when you realize that financial freedom is ultimately a practice in self-love.   When you transform your relationship with your finances, you become more practical and profitable when earning, saving, and investing money. You open yourself up to new opportunities that lead to multiple streams of income. This pushes you beyond the financial boundaries most people have and creates a new sense of expansiveness in everything you do.   Some Topics we talk about in this episode:   Introduction - 0:54 Danetha’s Work With Clients - 2:55 Overcoming Fear of Money and the Scarcity Mindset - 6:27 Danetha’s Business Beginnings - 12:35 The Energy Around Your Money - 17:28 How Danetha Helps Her Clients - 23:27 Answering the “How Do You Make Money?” Question - 27:00 Wrap-up and Takeaways - 31:38   How to get involved Connect with Malorie Nicole on Facebook or Instagram for more on the topic of becoming abundantly clear in your life and business. EP15: The Power of Emotionally Driven Messaging
“Communication is the foundation… if you can’t properly communicate your message in a clear and concise way nothing gets done.” - Sani Nielsen   In the realm of the digital marketing age, we can be laser-focused on the best systems and automations. The danger of operating in this frame of mind is that we can become so structured and sterilized that we are robotic in our interactions with clients and potential clients. In an effort to be more efficient, we are becoming less human. In a service-based industry, you lose your magic when you lose your ability to tap into emotion and find genuine connection with other human beings. And that, my friends, is all that your prospective clients are: Human beings. I think we forget that sometimes.   Sani Nielson is a messaging expert. Her focus is to find and create intentional, genuine connections within the context of marketing. Her scope of expertise ranges from the cold-lead prospect all the way through the client journey. Her mission is to build trust and relationship between the prospect and the entrepreneur.   “Data, structure, and systems are great, and they are absolutely imperative to run a business, but if you want a business that lasts, you have to have the emotional connection.” - Sani Nielsen   When we box ourselves in with a rigid view of what marketing is “supposed” to be, we can lose our ability to really be ourselves in the midst of the process. Getting out of the box is as simple as reconnecting with yourself. Allowing your personality to permeate the essence of your services and messaging will draw people in.   “If you don’t work on your mindset, your business is going to fall apart.” - Malorie Nicole   As much as we can find ourselves disconnected from self, we can also detach from the wants and needs of our potential clients. When we get caught in the echo chamber of what we want the client to buy, we can forget that the client is an actual person who is out there. One way to overcome this hurdle is to put yourself in the client’s shoes. What do they want or need? If you stop looking at your avatar as a statistic and allow yourself to see them as an actual individual with valid emotions and wants, it can give life to your messaging. Allow yourself to speak to one person, no matter how big or small the service.   “Are you a human being? Is your client a human being? In the end, when everything is stripped away, all you’re doing with messaging is trying to create a connection.” - Sani Nielsen   Spend a moment taking stock of your current approach to messaging. Do you allow your personality to shine in your marketing? Do you feel like you have a good grasp of your ideal avatar? If you are less than 100% sure that you can answer “yes” to those questions, it may be time to get a fresh perspective. Gaining an outside look at your business and marketing is invaluable. Your business is meant to transcend beyond the transactional level. You have an important message to share with the world. If you are a business owner who desires coaching to create dynamic messaging that aligns with your personality and connects with your target audience, you can reach out to Sani on her website or find her on Facebook.   Some Topics we talk about in this episode:   Introduction - 0:54 The Power of Marketing, and the Feminine Edge - 4:23 Types of Businesses Sani Works With - 15:07 Positivity, Sunshine, and Breaking Through the Barriers - 26:37 The Importance of “Feeling” in Marketing - 35:48 The Secret to Referral-Based Business  - 43:20 Wrap-up and Takeaways - 30:00   How to get involved Connect with Malorie Nicole on Facebook or Instagram for more on the topic of becoming abundantly clear in your life and business. EP14: The "Perfect" Business Problem
“Perfectionism has multiple layers. It doesn’t always come from the same story, experience, or belief.” - Malorie Nicole (5:10)   Often, in the entrepreneurial world, perfectionism is a trait that is praised. We relabel the patterns with words like - self-motivated, meticulous, achievement-oriented. However, in an industry where success or failure seems to sit squarely on our shoulders, perfectionism can be a block that holds us back from the sustainable success we are meant to have in our lives.   The roots of perfectionism are unique to the individual, as are the life experiences precipitating this mindset. Both a family of origin that offered stability and structure, and a family of dysfunction, instability, and chaos can foster perfectionism.   ”When we become observers of our stories, we get to decide which ones work for us and which ones to rewrite.” - Malorie Nicole (9:13)   Maybe you’re unsure if perfectionism is a pattern that influences your life. If so, read the list below. If you can identify any of these patterns in your thinking or actions, you just might struggle with perfectionism.   Do you tend to think in extremes? Either you have succeeded, or you failed, second-best isn’t an option. Do you find yourself terrified of feeling or looking like a failure? Is it difficult for you to start or complete a task because you fear it might never truly be “finished” because there will always be room for improvement? Does your level of success always feel insufficient? How is your relationship with money? Toxic relationships with money and operating from a scarcity mindset often coincide with perfectionistic patterns. Does your level of confidence always rely on quantifying your accomplishments?   “Just because it happened, perfect family or unstable chaotic environment, doesn’t mean our experience is permanent. Our lens is ever evolving” - (8:41)   If you found yourself saying yes to any of the questions above, it’s quite possible that there are patterns of perfectionism that dictate your story. Just because perfectionism has taken the spotlight in your life thus far doesn’t mean that it has to play a leading role in the rest of the story. You have the ability to rewrite your story, refocus your lens, and find freedom from perfectionism.   ‘But how,’ you may ask. The first step to overcoming perfectionism is identifying where it is showing up in your life. Become an observer of yourself and look for patterns. The more you understand yourself, and the roots of your behaviors, the more you can be empowered to shift. In moments when you feel stuck, ask yourself, “What are two other options of how I could be looking at the potential outcomes of this situation?” Usually, the perfectionist pattern blocks out the ability to see outside of a one-lane avenue. If you ask yourself the question, you might be surprised by the pattern-interruptions that can be created. Step outside of your box, allow yourself to find alternative outcomes and feel the freedom that comes from facing your feet towards an alternative outcome.   Some Topics we talk about in this episode:   Introduction - 0:55 How Do We Know When Perfectionism is Showing Up? - 2:08 Roots of Perfectionism - 4:23 The Polarity of Perfectionism Roots - 6:41 How to Overcome the Block of Perfectionism - 9:02 Wrap-up and Takeaways - 11:46   How to get involved   If you liked this episode, be sure to subscribe and leave a quick review on iTunes. EP13: Results so Quick it Doesn't Seem Possible!
How to overcome your limiting beliefs so that you can have a successful and thriving business! “There are specific events that can literally hold rule over the rest of your life… when you’re not living true to what your heart desires this can manifest as physical symptoms in the rest of your body.” - Christopher Scott Did you know that our subconscious mind dictates a baseline of 95% of our decisions each day? This includes your money beliefs, which what I"ll be diving into in the Abundantly Clear Money Mindset Course.  Most of the beliefs that inform our decisions take shape during the ages of 0 and 7, the most formative years of our life. The trauma experienced during this time shapes our view of self, others, and the world. The word trauma is intentionally broad and isn’t limited to extreme dysfunction or severe childhood wounds. Any event that hinders your worldview and your identity can be considered trauma. These events, big or small, can rule the rest of your life, and even affect your physical health. Christopher Scott, founder of Mind Body Move, uncovers subconscious beliefs that can have a direct impact on physical health. He focuses on delivering pain relief, movement enhancement, and holistic wellness to help clients experience their fullest and best life. “Manifestation: Your Thought + Your Emotions + Action = Result.” - Christopher Scott The process of overcoming faulty subconscious beliefs can be seen in two separate layers. First, we begin by uncovering the belief about something that hasn’t happened yet. We give ourselves permission to believe what “could” be possible, and let ourselves step into this new positive thought process. To learn more about this subconscious healing process, this course might be perfect for you. The second layer occurs when we have a positive result. When we begin to see proof of our new belief, it begins to solidify in our subconscious, replacing negative, faulty beliefs. ”The subconscious part of our brain…  doesn’t have the ability to reason. It stores memories and experiences. This is why belief work is so powerful. We get to create new beliefs about who we are. In turn, we are shifting into a new state of being and identity.” - Malorie Three Ways to Begin Overcoming the Limitations of Subconscious Beliefs: ONE -> Stop judging! All judgment is self-judgment, and this posture is one of the greatest hindrances to growth. Start identifying the times throughout your days and weeks that you begin comparing your self and your work to others. Letting go of judgment will give you the freedom to work from your fullest potential, and allow you to move forward in your business. TWO -> Practice working from a place of relaxation. When you let go of “should” and “must,” and allow ourselves to work from passion and desire, even the times of hustle can be accompanied with a sense of ease. THREE -> Stop focusing so much on the “how.” The energy behind this mindset can be paralyzing. When we hone too much into the “how,” we become tethered to a specific outcome, and this creates a platform that can trip us up. It is important, and okay, to think about the details. However, don’t be so focused on how you get there that you lose sight of the ultimate goal: To get your clients the results they desire. If you want to crush your limiting beliefs, specifically healing your relationship with money and align yourself to more abundance, check out this resource that has been helping so many people!

EP12: How to Trust Yourself When Making Decisions with Tasha Blasi
“Most doctors don’t look at a miscarriage as a big deal. They look at it as bad luck, and that it happens all the time. I look at it as ‘how can we make sure this never ever happens ever again.’” - Tasha   What do you do when the Universe gives you a huge wedgie before kicking you right in the pants? Tasha Blasi, the self-proclaimed science nerd turned expert fertility coach and founder of the Fertilitites Unite Project, is evidence that at times, we move forward because it becomes impossible to stay in the same place. She hadn’t planned to become a fertility coach, but after her business coach recommended she pursue this field, the entire department she worked with in her advertising firm was shut down. Now, untethered by a job, and motivated by a dream, the Universe pushed her towards a higher purpose: Helping women around the world finally fulfill their dream of motherhood.   “What does failure actually mean? If failure didn’t exist, what would be possible? Failure is just an illusion. Shift the lens, change out your glasses, and instead look through the lens of true possibility.” - Malorie   Perhaps you wonder what the work of a fertility coach has to do with your life right now. Regardless of your current status as a parent, or your desire to become one, Tasha’s work with women experiencing fertility issues uses mindset work as a core focus. Our body, mind, and spirit are so interconnected. Holistic health is imperative for a healthy pregnancy and a healthy life. Shame, guilt, low self-esteem, and living from a place of regret, will keep your vibration frequency low. To move forward, we have to have the courage to face the things we may not even realize we’ve been avoiding.   “We need to trust that there is something bigger than us out there making sure that we’re going to live our best lives. If you have an opportunity, idea, or a passion and you can take that and make it your life’s work, go for it! Try it. Fail. Who cares? Failing is discovery. Discover something new about yourself, about life, and keep on going.” - Tasha   Tasha believes so strongly in the work that she does with clients that she promises to work with them until they have a baby in their arms. To date, Tasha has a 100% success rate. As she helps women uncover new layers of self, and barriers that could be inhibiting pregnancy, she empowers them to recreate their story so they have the ability to write the rest of their story. EP11: Being Grounded and Finding Joy in Your Business with Anie B.
“If your audience knows you, likes you, and trusts you then they will buy from you. If you make it about how you can serve them, and stop making it about how you can get to the next level, then your business will do whatever you want it to do.” - Malorie   In the midst of a culture that seems to award a badge of honor to those who are busiest, how do we find fulfillment and joy in the midst of the hustle? Being “busy” can become a self-limiting identity that inhibits fullness, and suffocates joy. Anie B. is a yoga instructor turned real estate agent who has learned how to apply the principles of peace, self-love, and healthy ritual to her current industry. She truly embodies the concept of reaching goals through a place of service. How does she prioritize self and still achieve incredible success in her career?   “It’s about the quality of life and not the quantity of life. In this society, hours are associated with dollars. The more I do, the more money I’ll make. But that’s not necessarily the truth. In my industry, I could literally work all day. There isn’t a lack of stuff I could be doing, but in the end, it’s just ‘stuff.’” - Anie B.   In entrepreneurial endeavors, it seems that much of the hustle comes from a scarcity mindset. We can become focused on the competition, and trying to make our offer conducive to the masses. Learn how to shift into a mindset of abundance and subsequently, you will attract the ideal clients. It’s not our job to be the perfect service provider for every potential client. When we wait for the RIGHT people, we don’t have anything to worry about. When we give ourselves permission to operate from a place of abundance, everything will fall into place. This mindset gives us the freedom to work in cooperation with our “competition.” Uniting with others is so much more powerful, and actually creates more abundance in our business.   “Acknowledge what you need. Being on the same page with YOU helps you genuinely be on the same page with everyone else.” - Anie B.   It doesn’t matter how much you believe in yourself, and your ability to experience abundance, if you don’t have the integral practice of healthy habits in your life. Without those structures in place, you will end up feeling scattered, and unable to achieve sustainable success. The first step to serving your clients fully is creating appropriate boundaries on your time. When you put yourself first, you will have the energy needed to be fully present, and be empowered to give your best self to others. EP10: Embracing the Power of Your Emotions with Bradley Grinnen
“Energy is everything. And the energy we bring to every circumstance will determine the energy we walk away with.” - Bradley Grinnen   This week on the Abundantly Clear podcast, Bradley Grinnen talks about his journey to becoming a coach to Fortune 100 executives, and founding Coach Launch. Most often, those who have the most to offer as a coach, have acquired the knowledge from the triumphs and challenges of their own journey. Bradley is no exception. Listen in to learn more about the importance of vulnerability, the power of our energy, and the value of embracing our emotions, good, bad, and ugly.   ”If I shut down my negative emotions, I’m also shutting down my ability to feel positive emotions. You can have this existence that is pretty empty, but you won’t feel pain for the time being. Or you can accept that pain is a part of life and you can remind yourself that you can handle it. And then you get to handle the joy, love, and ecstasy.” - Bradley Grinnen   In order to find sustainable success in business, and in life, it is vital to gain a clear understanding of emotions. So much of entrepreneurial vitality and viability is dependant on our ability to understand our clients. To have a clear understanding of others, we must first gain a clear understanding of ourselves. Intimacy with others is only gained when we are open in our view of emotions. Often as a result of pain and rejection we “shut off” our negative emotions. Consequently, our ability to experience the joy and fullness of positive emotions is impeded as well.     “You can break the rules when you master the basics. Once you master the fundamentals, you can do whatever you want. Know what people want. Know what they need. Give it to them. Learn to communicate with people in such a way that you build trust.” - Bradley Grinnen   The secret to success is this, when we develop our ability to give freely to others and become comfortable with vulnerability, we are sure to thrive. Letting go of the illusion of being “in control” and forcing others to love you, gives the freedom needed to fully find your passion. This sort of freedom is attractive in relationships, and in this context, to your clients.   All of these concepts are so simple, but they aren’t always easy. So much of the chaos in our lives exists because we overcomplicate things. Start with yourself. Align your energy, become more attuned to your emotions, and get comfortable with vulnerability. All of this alignment will flow from the inside out, and you WILL see a positive change in your business.   Some Topics we talk about in this episode:   Introduction - 0:52 Growing Business From the Base of Value-Giving - 5:42 How Bradley Shifted His Mindset - 8:22 Letting Go of Control and Letting Your Emotion Catch Up - 15:47 How Your Energy Influences Your Success - 27:36 Take Ownership of What You Want Your Life to Look Like - 34:43 Look at the Baseline of Your Experience - 43:58 Changing Your Life Patterns - 44:56 Wrap-up and Takeaways - 51:25 How to get involved Bradley Grinnen founded Coach Launcher to support coaches, and help them enroll clients within weeks of their launch. EP9: Get Out of Your Own Way QUICKLY with this Tool
“We have the whole world at our fingertips and have the opportunity to create literally whatever we want… but we create these little beliefs about what is possible for us because who we are. As we implement pattern interrupts in our life, we are able to move forward.”   How many times has the belief of what you are capable of gotten in the way of your success? Perhaps you don’t even recognize these beliefs, but rather accept them as facts. The patterns of action that keep us stuck in the present actually originate from beliefs that became solidified during developmental years. This week on the Abundantly Clear podcast, Malorie shares about utilizing pattern interrupts, a dynamic tool to help listeners identify those beliefs, and begin uprooting them.   ”A pattern interrupt is a method used to redirect or change a person’s behavior, habit, situation, or thought process.”   To begin overcoming limiting beliefs, it is crucial to begin becoming an observer of your thoughts. Stop accepting doubts in yourself at face value, and start asking yourself some intentional questions to get to the truth.   If you feel like you are hitting a wall in your business, the challenge this week is for you to identify the beliefs about self, work, and life that are standing in your way. Ask yourself, has someone told you this belief before? Then, as an objective observer of your thoughts, ask if it is a belief or a truth. Finally, ask yourself, if you were operating from your highest self, your highest possible frequency, what would you believe instead?   “What belief structure have you implemented that doesn’t make sense?”   Listen in to this week’s episode to learn more. Mindset of a Business Owner - Successful Entrepreneurship
“When we allow ourselves to be in the flow, when we allow ourselves to surrender and trust the universe and lean into intuition and take massive bold action based on the inspiration we’re given... the universe works in magical, mysterious ways. ” - the key to successful entrepreneurship  This episode on the Abundantly Clear podcast, we are joined by Breakthrough Mentor, Gerald Rogers. Gerald is an accomplished speaker, author, and purpose-driven messenger, whose mission is to help people understand their divine gifts on this planet in sharing his message with others on how to experience successful entrepreneurship . ”Sometimes the things that feel like the greatest setbacks are actually the things that thrust us forward the most, but we don’t realize it unless we trust the universe.” - Gerald What gives motivation to successful and inspirational entrepreneurs? In this episode, we talk about the journey we are all on, and the thousands of little switch points that lead us to where we are meant to be. We are all driven by something different, money, freedom, love. Identifying our unique motivator is crucial, in order to stay aligned in our journey. Many times we become so limited that we become our mindset. In order to walk in a place of abundance, we have to recognize and uproot the scarcity that dictates our thoughts. We limit the ability to bring in “more” with the word, “enough.” What if you were to expand your perception of what “enough” means to you? What if you removed the limiters? Think of all that you could achieve if you released doubts and fears and came from a mindset that you already have the things that you desire. Think about your relationship with your finances specifically in this, we internally create all the setbacks, the blocks, the limters, until we learn to release them.  -> Here's how to do that <- “All transformation happens when we shift our perspective of who we believe we are.” - Gerald You're here to show up in leadership and make your dreams come true. The truth is, we can’t lead someone to a destination that we have never been. The success of those we help in our business will be limited by the amount of work we are willing to do in our own minds. Which means, having a mindset for successful entrepreneurship is key. When the mindset of success is present, the mechanics of your business will become easy. Changing your state of being is guaranteed to change the amount of success and fulfillment that you achieve in your own life, and the lives of those who surround you. Change your mindset and step into abundance. If you want to learn more specifically about your upleveling your money mindset, removing the scarcity, and stepping into abundance,  check this out! “Every thought you think and every word you speak is a seed for creating your future reality.” - Gerald Which is EXACTLY why if your thoughts are creating STRESS around money... it's time to heal it, otherwise, what type of reality are you creating? EP7: The Balance of Strategy and Mindset with Erica Wernick
“Wanting it and being willing to do it are two completely different things. If you really want it, then you'll allow yourself to take the action.” - Malorie   This week on the Abundantly Clear Podcast, we’re talking with the one and only Hollywood Success Coach, Erica Wernick. Erica is passionate about reaching the community of Hollywood, helping them shift their mindset and find greater success more quickly. She has achieved incredible success in this industry, growing to a six-figure income in the last four years, while working 14 hour days in the television industry for three of those years!   ”I was not a confident coach two years ago. I just wasn't. So how could I have a higher price and be pulling clients in all the time to try to get to six-figures if I wasn't even really a hundred percent confident in what I was doing?” - Erica   Finding success in Hollywood, or anywhere for that matter, takes a combination of strategy, action, and mindset. In any field, risks are necessary to find success. What is the resistance holding you back from having the courage to take bold steps forward? At times, a sense of competition, comparison, or living in a scarcity mindset can steal our thunder and create resistance. Shifting our focus away from others’ success, or our own perceived failures, and focusing on manifesting the future we want will bring the results we are so desperately desiring.   “You can really only take your clients as far as you're willing to go yourself… you might have some stuff internally that you have to take yourself through on a personal journey so that you can show up for other people. ”   If you have ever felt like you are “just another business coach,” this episode is for you. Erica has pioneered the path of niche marketing in the coaching industry. You are not just another number, and your business can take whatever shape you want.
