In this episode I sat down with Mical Bollwinkel to talk Russian history and man was that a lot of fun. Mical has an academic background studying Russian history, so we walk through and cover the span of time starting from the fall of the Tsarist regime, the Bolshevik revolution, Lenin, Stalin, Russian involvement in the wars, USSR, the cold war, the love/hate triangle between the US, USSR and the Indian Republic and finally the fall of USSR and then an epilogue about the introduction of the sweetheart we have known and loved for the last two decades, Ole Vladdy boy Putin. This was such a fun way to look at historical accounts along with the stories, characters, human motivations and the roll of the cosmic dice that set up some of the situations that changed the course of the world.
