ATFCTC 13 Can Or Die
Some breweries may not make it through the social distancing we are seeing with COVID-19. The halt to the foodservice sector has devastated some operations and it was a mad rush to can as much beer as possible. Can or die is a motto that is floating around as craft breweries change how they operate to stay afloat. The boys taste beers from Monkish, Swamp Head, Electric and others while talking about some of those reports, the need to support your local brewers, and also cover a few positive stories among the industry during this lockdown. Give it a listen and support your local brewery!

ATFCTC 12: A Silver Lining To Pandemic Situation
Social distancing has affected almost every aspect of our lives, and the craft beer world is no exception. However, there is a silver lining to this pandemic, and that's the availability of good beer. In this episode, the boys and a special guest remotely discuss what we are seeing in the beer market and feed off of a virtual 'beer share' with some regular listeners of the show. Alvarado Street/Great Notion's collaboration Double Dank Shake, Alchemist's Focal Banger, and Swamp Head's Sky Puppies (gotta have a bat reference during coronavirus) all get tasted and rated. Listen in because getting good beer has never been easier. Again, it's tough out there right now...but good beer can make it a little bit better.

ATFCTC 11
We've been sitting on this one for a while...TAPED BACK IN FEBRUARY before all this crazy social distancing happened. Well, it's finally here, and this episode is all about Citra hops (for the most part) as the guys taste some beers bursting with fruity-fresh flavor like Citra Baby from Alvarado Street, HDHC Quadrangle Test from Other Half Brewing, and Guayabera from Cigar City. The guys are joined by a bug expert who works on hops in Washington, who tastes her favorite Batsquatch by Rogue, talks about what it's like working in hops, and some pests that could harm our favorite beer flavoring ingredient (including the hated Spotted Lanternfly). This episode is a little heavier on the ag side, and we even joke about the coronavirus at the time and how we should do an episode on it #Creepy #Nostradamus. It's a good one. Cheers!

ATFCTC 10 Tombstone Tap Takeover
Our friends at Tombstone Brewing takeover this episode as we try several of their beers and discuss how it's made. We also hear about the 'stereotypical craft brewery stuff' when it comes to being involved in local agriculture. The owner also gives us a heads up on a new concoction that resembles an old favorite.

ATFCTC 9 Does Venue Make Beer Taste Better?
Can a venue change your thoughts on how a beer tastes? This episode is all about a few different styles of breweries and taprooms with trends emerging in both. What do you prefer in the place you try a new beer? There are some strong opinions in this episode from our crew but the consensus is that the venue definitely matters.

ATFCTC 8 Fruited Tarts, Cans, and Malt Trends In 2020
Kicking off 2020 with a little bit of a skeleton crew with Josh on assignment, this episode talks about a few trends that either aren't going away, the guys hope will continue, or emerge as something new. Also, a special guest helps describe the tasting beers including Like Noooo! from House of Pendragon, Breakfast of Leisure by Great Notion, and Curiosity Eighty Six from Tree House.

ATFCTC 7 Stepping Out of Your Comfort Zone
Just in time to finish off 2019, Josh and Taylor sneak one more episode before 2020. This episode is all about stepping out of your comfort zone. They share stories about finding something they liked, once unexpectedly. Also, they discuss a very cool interview with Full Circle Brewing, who concocted an old-style beer you won't see on many beer boards. Called a 'Kentucky Common,' The beer was a collaboration to celebrate agriculture and help remind people that their beer really does depend on agriculture.

ATFCTC 6 Beer Making Is Just A Business
The guys get down to business in this episode by talking about two recent purchases in the craft beer world, one good and one bad for the consumer who likes new beers. ATFCTC 5 An Idiot A-Brewed
A guest that typically enjoys beers that are spelled 'l-i-t-e' joins the boys for this podcast that resembles the hysterical television show called 'An Idiot Abroad.' We hear from a Central California specialty crop grower who is testing out hop production, and we find out that our special guest may like craft beer a little more than he thinks, he just needs some help to find ones he'll love.

ATFCTC 4 What's Your Flavor?
"Fruit doesn't belong in beer!", or so some say. Whether it's fruit, pumpkin, honey, or even almonds, changing flavors in any type of beer is all the rage. The guys are joined by a special guest who has an affinity for lemons in her beer, and they talk about the trend with several examples, some of which are very well known.

ATFCTC Episode 3 What Are One-offs?
A great episode this week on one-offs. Matt joins us again to talk about what one-offs are, how you should view them, and the different ways brewers are marketing them. We are tasting Moonraker's Bubble Dust, Alvarado Street's Cool Runoffs, and Full Sail's Atomizer.

ATFCTC Episode 2
This episode is all about cost. The boys talk about figuring out what you like so you don't waste $10 at a restaurant and using sampling trends to your advantage, also how regulation was recently avoided by the industry that may have driven up costs of brewing. And finally, beer trading and brokering fees to get access to out-of-area beers.
50 minutes | Sep 24, 2019
ATFCTC Episode 1
In our first episode, Taylor and Josh talk about the podcast, starting to identify hops flavors you like, and the explosion of hop varieties over the last several years that has Florida researching production.
