Kal grew up an hour north from New York in 18th Century Europe. He had a loving family in the warm chassidic community of New sqaure. At a young age he was the victim of abuse  at the hands of one of the most powerful people in his community. Sent away from home for his "rebellion" Kal spiraled into a dark journey for many years, spiritual exploration and forgiveness before eventually settling in Los Angeles and truly beginning his path to emotional and spiritual recovery.
