No5 - Uighur concentration camps, why don't we know more?
Yep you heard us right. In the 2020's there really is concentration camps holding people against their will but barely anyone knows about it.Native Chinese have had conflict with the Uighur Muslims that reside in the far west of their country for generations but this government have taken that one step further. Thousands of Uighur's are being forced from their homes every week and no one seems to be on their side. The facts are limited and the rumours range from re-education camps to harvesting organs for wealthy buyers - scary stuff. We're not going to kid you, it's pretty dark but we think it's important for people to keep talking about and it's important to find out more. This is going to be our last podcast for a while, whilst we take time to re-organise and come back bigger and better. But for now, get a cuppa, put on that tin foil hat and jump on in.

No4 - The Billionaire Space Race
On the week in which SpaceX completed their first commercial flight with passengers, we have decided to release our little convo questioning how far we can get with private space travel. Or is it just a play thing for the richest of rich?Elon Musk's SpaceX is leading the way amongst big business in space, with NASA using their rockets to send cargo up to the International Space Station, but Blue Origin (Jeff Bezos) and Virgin Galactic (Richard Branson) aren't light-years behind. If you think the idea of space tourism is just for sci-fi movies, believe me, you are wrong and if you have always wondered what SpaceX do but thought it sounded too techy, we lay down the details in English. All this, plus the prospect of space warfare, that's all we need right now...

No3 - Loadsa Money and Nowhere to hide it, have Man City killed FFP?
This week we decided to tackle the corruption within European Football (or lack of depending on where you sit) after Man City had their 2 year ban rescinded by the CAS.Finally managed to squeeze football into our discussions and we also have our first guest. With Fenton up to his eyes with 'real' work, our good friend and City fan, Danny Highfield, kindly agreed to step in and have a chat about how the fuck they managed to get away with this one.Money laundering, fair use of assets or just a big mistake from UEFA. Have Man City killed FFP? Enjoy.

The Late Late Intro
So we decided we'd throw something up just to try and explain why we're doing the podcast in more detail, what we want to do and what we want from you guys as listeners. Just Sean and Fenton for this one, no Josh, which might be why it sounds a lot more waffly.

No1 - What the F*** is going on in Hong Kong?
A Few Wise Words is a jumped-up blog that tries to explain big stories in little ways, cutting through the bullshit and telling you the stuff you really want to know. The podcast brings you 3 lads, with differing view points, to debate each sides of a story and let you know why it has made it's way into the news. We're not experts, we're just here to do the leg work when it comes to research so you can go and make your own mind up. For our first foray into the podcasting world we decided to have a chat about Hong Kong and why they are just so good at protests. We explain what makes Hong Kong unique, what they're protesting about and why China are getting all the bad press. Hopefully you might learn something.
