Beast Morphers is a season that quite possibly did THE most in terms of setting up the Power Rangers franchise especially in regards to history continuity. Ninja Scroll is a major piece in American Anime culture. While it wasn't popular in its home country, it was the American audience that made this movie iconic. Its animation is stunning, the voice acting is perfect, the story is memorable and the action is legendary. This film is a passion project from Eddie Murphy top to bottom and thats not a bad thing. The movie is like a high school reunion in that you're there for the nostalgia and seeing what everyone is up to and that is why the movie works. Fatale is the timeless tale of a well-to-do black man falling in love with an average-looking white woman, then his life is flipped upside when he's framed and his life is in the hands earlier said, white woman. It's a tale we all hear many many times. Fatale is a bad movie but one nice enjoyable dumb movie. Fred Hampton was a socialist revolutionary who led the Illinois chapter of the Black Panthers which painted a big target on his back by the the FBI. This film gives us a general idea of who Fred Hampton was from the perspective of William O'Neal who was an FBI informant sent to infiltrate the Black Panthers. To the films credit, they don't paint William in any positive light which further makes the movie work overall in showing the tragedy that happens. More than anything else, the film will make you very curious in wanting to further research on Fred Hampton especially with what he was doing prior to O'Neal joining the fold. A Bronx Tale is a story of two fathers trying to teach their young son. I know I know, Sonny wasn't his dad...but he was. A Bronx Tale is a very good coming of age story.
