In this episode I talk with my friend Neil about his experiences applying Pediatrics. It's the second episode on pediatrics, but still worth a listen. Neil discusses how he chose the specialty despite not being the typical peds candidate, having a sister in internal medicine, which interview questions tripped him up, and unexpected emotions he encountered throughout the process. In this episode of 2020's Hindsight I talk with Taylor about her experiences matching into Anesthesiology. It is one of the specialties that students do not get direct exposure to through clinical clerkships. We discuss how she became interested in the field, exposure through her father and through MCG's anesthesia externship program, interviewing, weighing several different factors when making her rank list and ultimately how she made decisions that would make her happy.
