OSCARS SPECIAL with Dan Buffa
Dan Buffa stops by to give the boys his picks for the 2020 Oscars. Just for the record Steve's picks are 1917 and Ford vs. Ferrari. "All other movies are overrated horse shit" Steve J. Michael has other thoughts. Drinks are shared as we touch on other stuff as well; Goodfellas vs Casino, the passing of Kobe Bryant and the Saint Louis Blues hockey team. Dan's Dad drove him to avoid any problems later. That dude has two cigar bars in his house. (Ok, one is more of a shed, but still...)

An Honest Conversation with Steve and Michael
Episode 10 with Steve and Michael. On this show we sit down and give you guys a drunken background on why this podcast exists. It's not just to make us famous, solid C-list celebrities, its a love letter to the city of Saint Louis Missouri. We talk about food, movies, why our city has such an abundance of stories about people of integrity and grit. It's a city in the midst of a revival and we've got a front row seat. Michael also talks about I.C.P...https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5F_utV45MT0

ACTIVIST AND ACTOR: Michael Burton
Activist, actor and possible Yogi, Michael Burton was a pint-sized terror to developers who dared to demolish and develop his childhood golf course, Tower Tee. Michael stood tall and challenged the plans from day one. Every city council meeting, he was there. Every microphone he stood in front of he bellowed his message of saving the cherished landmark. Eventually, he even ran for office. He's the kind of guy we would redesign our bottle for to include his face on the label. He's a stand up guy who teeters on the brink of folk hero. But in true Michael fashion he'd be embarrassed by all of these platitudes.

PITMASTER AND OWNER OF BEAST CRAFT BBQ AND BEAST BUTCHER AND BLOCK: David Sandusky
If you were curious what a man of character and grit sounds like, take a listen to David Sandusky, the owner and pitmaster of BEAST Craft BBQ Co. in Belleville and BEAST Butcher & Block in Saint Louis. He’s so impressive we had to do our podcast LIVE at the Monocle in Saint Louis just to do him justice. An honest man in an often dishonest field, David's no nonsense, high standard food is making Beast one of the best barbecue places in the Nation.

PROFESSIONAL WRESTLER: The Big Texan - Jim Hoffarth
It's been said that in pro wrestling the only things that are real are the roads and the money. Our guest might add medical bills to that list. In this episode we talk and drink with The Big Texan Jim Hoffarth. Jim’s a South Broadway Athletic Club legend and multiple title holder who personifies grit and character. Not only because he’s an older guy in a profession that eats up and spits out young guys, but also because he came back from a broken back to keep wrestling even after doctors told him not to. The conversation takes many twists and turns as we talk about Jim's career, his extensive list of injuries, Harley Race, Bruiser Brody, the state of pro wrestling and we even talk about a murder - It’s some scary shit. Let's get ready to rumble. JOURNALIST: Dan Buffa
We were proud to host sports and entertainment critic Dan Buffa at The Royale in South City. On this episode we talked about Saint Louis sports, driving an Uber, and even the XFL. Also, he dropped a bomb that left us reeling (or was it the whiskey?) — Goodfellas is the greatest film of all time! Or maybe it was Heat. Yeah. Deal with it. He’s a man of character, humor and honesty.

ROLLER DERBY ATHLETE: Prof. Rumbledore - Vanessa Tutka
Our very first episode. More of a "pilot" than an episode really. Honestly, our host was in the bag about 20 minutes in. Vanessa is fantastic! Our host? Not so much.
