Cats! Lots and lots of cats! Clans battling over territory, secret alliances, unlikely heroes, unlikely deaths... If you love Game of Thrones, then you may just love this book. This time we consider themes such as: allegiance to your clan vs sticking to your morals, finding your identity, and the importance of elders in our community. Thank goodness Erin Hunter writes more quickly than George R.R. Martin, but that may be because Erin isn't even a real person...

I felt compelled to write a review after the first four podcasts of Kid Lit Anonymous. I am new to podcast listening. I had no idea that these could be so entertaining and informative. Brandon and Molly are highly educated and well read commentators who are really enjoying what they are doing. The two paint vivid pictures and accurate depictions for the listener thus allowing a novice like me to really get in to these books. I know that it is routine to read first and then listen, however, personally I prefer to listen to their podcast before I read the books. This allows me to tab back mentally to the points that Brandon and Molly have made and to decide whether I agree( which I usually do!) or not. It is pretty obvious that the two of them have a very large volume of literature, movies and life experience to infuse into each podcast. It really adds a great deal to the listener when they intersperse these references. It is also obvious that both of them have been fans of kid lit for most of their lives. As a listener, I appreciate the humor and occasional friendly disagreement that a good podcast team needs in order to keep me interested. Brandon and Molly are truly a great team. They offer a balance of wit, knowledge and honest affinity for the books and listener. If you are an avid reader of kid lit or even just a passive part timer, this is a great way to enhance your reading experience.
I hope that you guys keep them coming! Spread the word!!
