Try It, You'll Like It
About This Show
Do brussels sprouts make you yack? Does the thought of anchovies on a pizza make you squirm? Is there a high-price to be paid for you to even consider eating a vegetable? Join comedians Winston Carter and David Zwick as they test the mettle of their guests by making them try a food they hate one last time. Each week, they'll interview chefs, restaurateurs and other comedians about the story behind their dislike for that week's food and then offer up a sampling platter of the grub in a variety of ways. Melted Cheese with Katelyn Hempstead
< 1 day ago
Comedian and Podcaster Katelyn Hempstead confounds David and Winston this week with her dislike of melted cheese. For Hot Tastes, Winston wants sandwich shops to stop trying to fol us by adding a couple of ingredients to their standard breads to pass it off as something new, while David wants the rules of dining decorum to change so that everyone has a chance at the table’s food before it is taken away from the table. For the tasting, a white queso dip, baked brie with fig jam, and a slice of deep dish pizza are served up.

I tried it, and I like it!
Great format. They develop good rapport with their guests quickly and always manage to teach me something new about food while making me laugh. I love that they don't just throw the unliked item at the guest, but make homemade dishes to really try to get them to like it.
