Episode Info: You might not know who Sarah Cooper is, but if you work in tech you’ve probably seen her comedy.   On her site The Cooper Review, Sarah pokes fun at the unique quirks of tech culture. It all started with a single Medium post, “10 Tricks To Appear Smart In Meetings,” which has been viewed millions of times and eventually led to a more comprehensive book on the subject, 100 Tricks To Appear Smart In Meetings.   Sarah’s inspiration for the book came from years of working at companies like Yahoo and Google, but it also leveraged her creative background as a standup and aspiring actress.   We talk about how her first exposure to computers was writing million-dollar checks to herself using Quicken, how she balanced her creative interests with her need to make money, and what her favorite trick to appearing smart in meetings is something called “The Kanye."
