Let the guests speak
I am often really excited to see a guest on the show and then bummed to find that the interviewee doesn't get to talk very much because the hosts are laughing, interrupting the guests and each other, and wasting the hour. I was super stoked to see that Michael C Hall was on the show, and then I didnt' really get to hear much of him toward the end of the show. I loved how Tom Hanks didn't let that happen. He just kept right on going, totally in control. Not every guest should be expected to battle for attention on a show they agreed to come onto.

Hardly Hard to Heart Hardwick
Chris Hardwick doesn't interview people, he has a conversation with them. This leads to people opening up to him unlike they do with any other interview. Almost every episode the guest asks "have we started yet?" It's unique, relevant, and a burrito of fun! I enjoy my burrito daily! Thanks Nerdist Crew!

Show's Great! But App sometime plays wrong episode
Probably my favorite podcast. It's absolutely hilarious and interesting. Always great guests ranging from comedians and actors to musicians. No real theme, just a bunch of guys sitting around making each other laugh and talking about whatever comes to mind. (I share their sense of humor so that helps...side note, the Josh Groban ep was the funniest dang thing ever, surprisingly)
Only complaint is about the app, not the podcast. Often times I'll select an episode to listen to and it will play an entirely different episode. Kind of annoying and probably a minor bug that needs to be fixed.

Fantastic Nerd/Pop Culture Show
I have been hooked on "The Nerdist" ever since I discovered it! It's an amazing show where famous and interesting people from every corner of the "nerd" world are interviewed in an open and relaxed setting. I say interviewed when, in reality, it is more of an open dialogue and chat. You get to hear these amazing people open up and speak of their lives in a way that you don't get with more rigid interview structures. I often find myself laughing out loud in my car while listening to the Nerdist Podcast. It is a joy to listen to and I hope you get hooked on it as quickly as I did.

love it!
I stumbled upon The Nerdist and started watching with no idea what is was about. A few months later, I still have no idea what it is about, but it makes me laugh, it makes me think, and then it makes me laugh again.
The Nerdist introduces me to people I have never heard of. The show also shows me surprising sides to people I have (Josh Groban is hillarious).
I keep meaning to google the hosts (sorry to say I have no idea what your last names are... have I been laughing whenever you say it?), but I sort of enjoy the anonymity of it. The chemistry "on air" works completely.

Always funny and interesting
Chris Hardwick is a fantastic interviewer and comedian who gets his guests to open up and tell stories about their lives and profession which they probably wouldn't otherwise. He and his co-hosts have an uncanny ability to make the guests feel welcome and make guests and listeners alike laugh.
The guests they have run the gamut from brilliant comics like Eddie Izzard to sports writers to movie stars like Tom Cruise and Morgan Freeman. My personal favorite is Andy Daly, and the conversations they have about improv comedy.
Definitely worth a listen, I think anyone would like it.

Solid Show Most of the Time
The "Hostfull" shows where it's just Chris, Matt, and Jonah are usually the most entertaining. I tend to skip episodes with Actors, Actresses, and Female Comedians (with the notable exceptions of Aisha Tyler, Sara Silverman, and Lisa Lisa Lampanelli) as they tend to drag pretty badly. Rarely is it Chris's fault when this happens, it's just the nature of the interviewees. It's worth keeping on the queue.

Put a little Nerdist in your ear...
Take the time to listen to Nerdist, even if you have no idea who the guest is. It would not do the podcast justice to call it an interview show. Chris Hardwick, Matt Mira and Jonah Ray have created the perfect atmosphere for great conversation. They seem to bring out the humor and real essence of their guests. You will laugh, lose yourself in the banter, probably learn something obscure and definitely "Enjoy Your Burrito"
