Episode Info: Most of us have a parent or grandparent who experienced significant trauma. War, suicide, the death of a sibling or child -- these are common examples. in some cases, this trauma may be the defining story of that person's life, and can severely affect their worldview. Trauma is passed from generation to generation through our DNA, and through subconscious emotional communication, often for several generations. It can affect us deeply, even if we didn't know the person involved. It affects our well being, and can hinder us from experiencing true joy, freedom, and empathy. This is part 2 of our Healing Trauma series. In today's meditation, we go deeper into the release of trauma and anxiety, to explore our ancestral trauma. In doing so, we heal the ancestral aspect that resides within us. This also re-opens the subconscious communication, allowing us to learn from the wisdom of our ancestors, which we can pass on to our own future generations.
