Episode Info:

Join Tim Ray and his guest Dr. Charles Krieger. Bio on Dr. Charles Krieger I am originally from New York City where my father opened his practice in 1961. My father discovered chiropractic when he finished his tour of duty in the Korean Conflict and came home with medical problems that were not helped with regular medical care. My father then went to see his brother-in-law who was a doctor of chiropractic and the health problems that did not respond to medicine were fixed through chiropractic adjustments and my father then decided to give up a lucrative career in electronics and went to chiropractic school. I grew up with chiropractic as my primary form of health care and attended Life Chiropractic College (now Life University) and went into practice with my father in 1985. I developed an interest in family care and saw lots of kids with different health challenges and became a founding member of the International Chiropractic Association Council on Pediatrics. I then learned more about nutrition and the role it played in optimal health. Over the years I have been through thousands of hours in post-graduate education in nutrition, neurology, and pediatrics and chiropractic technique. Most recently I became certified in Postural Neurology and am currently pursuing a certification in Applied Clinical Neurology from Life University Department of Neuroscience. As a doctor of chiropractic I have always been interested in helping people either avoid unnecessary drugs or to help people to no longer take them. In 2016 my son Tristan began undergraduate studies at Life University and we moved to Roswell, GA. After moving here I found that there were a large number of like-minded professionals of different health care fields all working to deal with the opioid problem that has gripped this area. I have had the pleasure to work with medical doctors and chiropractors on this devastating problem. I look forward to continuing to work toward changing the way our society views not just pain and pain management but overall health and wellness.
