The Aquarius New Moon and Partial Solar Eclipse happens on February 15 (16th for some, check your locality). The Leo/Aquarius eclipse season is underway, has been since early 2017, actually, and now we are looking at the Aquarius New Moon and Partial Solar Eclipse. This eclipse is asking us to release what no longer serves us, and with the contacts made by the new moon to Mercury (communication) and Juno (Queen of Feminine Arts/ Marriage/ Partnerships), there is a lot of negotiation happening -- if I let go of XXXX can I keep XXXX? What do I get when I do this? With the new moon, Mercury and Juno squaring her husband, Jupiter in Scorpio, there is a magnified sense that the change needed is deeply ingrained, buried deep within the psyche and the fight to let go is only just beginning. Fortunately, curious Mercury is able to go into the dark crevices and the deeper nooks and crannies to retrieve what was lost, what was stolen or...in this case, what is taking up too much space and must be excavated before we can fully claim our brilliance. And since Mercury is making supportive contact with Uranus, the task at hand will be handled brilliantly, with swiftness of action and insight. We see the problem that holds us back is found within the aspect between the South Node squaring Pallas Athena, in that we are being asked to move out of our fears and ground the changes in the name of PROGRESS. This new moon is asking us to make changes, but the inner dialogue is stuck on asking, What's in it for me? Well, what's in it for you is found on the North Node of Destiny, where Ceres, the Great Mother Goddess is transiting and in her retrograde transit, is showing us that when we honor our creative self-expression and let go of who we ARE NOT, we become MORE of who we intended to be. is connecting us to our brilliant insight needed to evolve on a conscious level.
