 Josh Mandel is a music-obsessed cultural omnivore who's been working in the advertising and marketing world for over 20 years. The first three years of his professional life were spent lost in the woods as an attorney. He then leveraged a bit of serendipity to re-boot as an entry-level Account Planner at Goodby, Silverstein & Partners in San Francisco, and have never looked back. Between then and now, Josh has held senior and head of department strategic roles at TBWA/Chiat/Day, 180 Amsterdam, Wieden+Kennedy and 72andSunny, working on brands like Nike, Google, Samsung Mobile, adidas, Activision, and Target. He has also worked for a number of years client-side at Nike, where he was the Global Brand Manager for the Athletic Training Category, and later the Marketing Director of Nike Mexico. In 2013 Josh opened the LA office of R/GA to serve the Beats by Dre business, working on their World Cup campaign. He is now the President of The Mill in Los Angeles, a creative production company working with Nike, BMW, EA, Apex Legends and other companies.
