Guy was the co-founder of the iconic Australian streetwear clothing company Juice clothing back in the early 90s. He was a prolific skateboarding photographer, specifically documenting the Sydney and Australian Skate scene throughout the mid to late 90s and early 2000s via magazines such as Skateboarding Australia and SLAM. The Juice Skateboarding videos are legendary, documenting the best skateboarders of the era such as Jeff “Skunk” Williams, Michael “Davo” Davidson, Chima Ferguson, Cale Nuske, vert skater Ti Coeling and many more. Their videos captured moments in time that laid the foundation for the Australian skateboarding scene as it is today. Nowadays, Guy part owns the Skate shops King Pin, hangs with his wife and kids, surfs when he can, and escapes for a few months every year to Bali.As an acquaintance of Guy’s over the years, I’ve always admired his approachable nature, good vibe and lack of ego.In this week's episode Guy is with me to share his journey, experiences, challenges and hopes for the future.
