Teachers: What's Next?
About This Show
The Teachers: What's Next? podcast is for life-long educators who are thinking about, or, wanting to move out of traditional schooling or academic settings. It is hosted by Annelise Mitchell and Nicole Feledy: two former high school English teachers who want to share what they have discovered on their journey outside of high school and university teaching and to share insights from other educators who have thrived outside of teaching in these settings. The Teachers: What's Next? podcast will be filled with interviews of educators in every imaginable field and the only criteria will be that the educator (teacher, lecturer, professor, instructor, writer, author, coach, etc) loves their work and feels like they are thriving, not just surviving. The ethos of the podcast is that teaching is a noble profession that contributes to society's growth and future. The podcast will also cover discussion on the philosophy of teaching and learning and everything related to helping us become the best educators we can be.Read more »
