This week we sat down on the Lower East Side with Sian-Pierre Regis, filmmaker and founder of Swagger, and Chad Walsh, Beverage Director at Agern Restaurant and newly minted as one of Food + Wine Magazine's Top Sommeliers of 2017. These two, friends in their own right, are each at the top of their game and tastemakers in their respective fields. Sian-Pierre tells us about Duty Free, his forthcoming film documenting a turbulent year in his mother's life, and confesses his love for rosé wines. Chad breaks down his philosophy in designing all-American wine lists, ponders why he's always expected to be the bouncer, and reassures Sian-Pierre that his rosé habit is not at all #basic. In the glass we gulped down Kutch Wines's Chardonnay and Sans Soufre Pinot Noir, while nerding out over the details of carbonic maceration.
