Today we are excited to bring you an interview with Dr. Amy Faith Ho. Amy is an Emergency Medicine Physician in Texas, an actress, writer, acclaimed speaker and health policy pioneer. Amy attended medical school in Texas and did residency in Chicago. As a medical student, Amy was involved in student government and was active in the AMA and Texas Medical Association. In her fourth year as a medical student, Amy began writing about the healthcare job market, business, healthcare, and medical economics. Amy has been a three-time TedX speaker and has spoken on everything from gun violence to physician wellness to addiction to healthcare policy. Amy’s work has been featured in KevinMD, Doximity, STAT News, The Hill, NPR, The Today Show, and Forbes. Amy is also an actress, playing the role of a physician, in the “Untold Stories of the ER” and “Sex Sent Me to the ER” and has even helped write some of the episodes.
