Kate Solovieva (or SOLO as she is known in the racing circles) is a blogger, extreme endurance racer, traveller and a health coach for Precision Nutrition. She has been blogging about the sport of obstacle racing, nutrition, health and travel at www.solovieva.com since 2012.

Born in Siberia, Russia, she immigrated to Canada as a teenager, and fascinated by all things human behavior, earned her undergraduate and graduate degrees in psychology. In her past lives she has been a psychology professor, a bootcamp instructor, and a yoga teacher. She is currently drinking coffee, helping her clients eat, move and live better, all the while plugging away at her ever growing bucket list, and planning her next adventure. "
