You literally have to learn the “art of relational skill” when it comes to relationships in the social media arena. You must come across as natural and personable at the same time very genuine and able to reach out to your audience. Most social media experts advise that you do this in order to bring your voice and your brand, if applicable to life, If you wish to appeal to your audience or drive a message that hits home with them. These factors are almost essential requirements if you are truly wanting to succeed in the social media arena. So what is one to do? Consider these techniques as “food for thought” when you begin or are already implementing your social media “voice”. When doing social media on these platforms remember: Twitter: Twitter is among the best and easiest Social Media platforms that you can use for personal or business use. Why? It requires ONLY 140 characters and out of those 140 characters you really want to leave your audience with great impression of who you are and what you are about.. You want them to remember who you are, what you're promoting if anything, your message, and leave them with “something to think about”. Since this platform allows you a little bit of room to work with, you have to be very careful how you use your best words. Google Plus: Google Plus, probably one of my favorites. Why? It gives you more breathing room than twitter, and you have what is called “circles” that will see the information you are promoting. Let’s say for example, you are promoting your best artwork and you have a blog that you are talking about the subject matter, and you have a variety of contacts or circles, all of those will have the ability to see your message. So, the key here is to sign up for as many circles as you can and with that you will be able to have more viewers vie your product and/or service.. This is the flexibility that Google Plus affords you. Facebook. Gives you a variety of benefits that other platforms don’t have available. When using Facebook, you have the benefit of connecting to your personal and business (if you have one) profiles so that your audience can see you and your business.
