We feel it is best to share and learn from each other’s practices rather than going it alone. Above all, we firmly believe that training should be fun, enjoyable, and challenging! We are stepping slightly outside of the box on episode 86 of the Strength Squad Podcast. We give you our top four unconventional lifts that we think any lifter can benefit from. We surely didn’t invent these but any means, but they are:
1. Zercher squat (or anything Zercher)
2. Belt squat/modified band belt squat
3. Landmine press
4. Lateral sled drag
We urge you to go ahead and give them a try! These lifts will add a different dimension to your strength training. After the serious stuff, we also talk about our favorite fast food chains. You won’t want to miss that!
