Welcome to the re-launch of the D.O.A. Show! In this episode, I recap, analyze, and review Robert Eggers'2015 horror film The Witch!

In early 17th century New England, a Puritan farmer, along with his wife and five children, are exiled from their Puritan settlement for refusing to obey the laws of the commonwealth. Cast out into wilderness, the family’s faith in God and in each other, are placed in jeopardy, when their infant child, Samuel goes missing on the edge of a dark wood. As the family struggles to come to terms with the disappearance of Samuel, the family become aware of a dark and evil presence in the woods. This is The Witch: A New England Folktale.
