Episode Info: Ken Davis is an award-winning sports writer who has covered college sports since 1977. The Overland Park, Kan., native graduated from the University of Kansas William Allen White School of Journalism in 1980. Davis has covered the football and basketball programs at Kansas, Syracuse, Maryland and Connecticut. He was the UConn men’s basketball beat reporter for 12 seasons at The Hartford Courant. After 25 years in the newspaper industry, Davis has been a freelance writer and national college basketball writer for NBCSports.com and FoxSports.com. In addition, he has written three books on college basketball. Davis was inducted into the New England Basketball Hall of Fame in 2013. He lives in Coventry, Connecticut, with his wife, Nancy. They have two sons, Patrick and Joseph, and a grandson, Ethan.
