Episode Info:

This week I had the privilege of speaking with Dr. William (Bill) Stobb. Dr. Stobb was my creative writing professor when I was working on my undergraduate degree.  He was, believe it or not, the first person I knew to have actually published a book of poetry.

Personally, I have a long history with poetry. I was writing poetry long before I knew anyone else who did it. When I was young and trying to figure things out, it was a great outlet for me.  Poetry was the first form of writing I ever took seriously on a personal level.

I’m grateful to have had the opportunity of study writing with Bill, and I’m glad to to share some of his wisdom.

You can find Dr. Stobb’s blog here: http://williamstobb.blogspot.com/

Thanks for listening!
