Episode Info:

Episode 13 - Join SeeingRed as we listen to two of the organizers from the first of the Black Lives Matters protests in Omaha, NE., Morgann Freeman and Angie Phillps. Both of them are experienced organizers and used to running large scale protests. They give a first hand narrative of a police force totally out of control and violent. As we recorded this episode, both Lincoln and Omaha were under curfew and protesters faced not only the police, but the national guard as they marched and chanted for recognition of their humanity and the dismantlement of racist systems.
