Huh? What did he just say?
Steve Gibson is the authority on technology and security. Co-hosted with Leo Laporte, they cover all the problems and solutions of computer security, while covering Q&A from the audience. I wish I knew more about everything they're discussing, but the more I listen the more I learn. I use Stitcher app so I can back up and relisten to something that didn't sink in the first go-around. Security Now is more than a podcast, it's a public service. Steve Gibson is the first person I heard explain the NSA PRISM debacle accurately (among others). Don't be intimidated by the tech jargon, keep listening. Your peace of mind will grow as you learn.

This show is too good to pass up
It seems like every week the show is packed with current news that can be hard to find elsewhere. Steve does the work of scouring the internet for the facts regarding major situations that tend to go under-reported, then presents the material in an objective manner that encourages listeners to form their own opinions. Personally, I enjoy the explanations of complex material mixed with light-hearted product reviews. I'm usually very advertising resistant, but Leo and Steve can tell me what to buy any day. Great Show : 5/5 Stars

Great overview of the weeks issues
Though Leo and Steve do gab a lot about non-security related stuff, which makes the show pretty long (usually over 90 min...), there is some great in depth discussion of the most relevant issues of our time. As a security professional mired in my own work, it's great to have knowledgeable people keeping up with the stuff I don't have time for. Just wish they could get it down to have the time!

Keeps me looking like a pro.
I have been listening to Security ow since they started out. I have come to depend on the depth and breadth of information I don't have the time to research myself. Steve Gibson also wrote Spinrite which saved my bacon more than once. and who doesn't like Leo LaPorte?

Propellor Hats at the Ready!
Consistently great, in depth content. I'm afraid I might have listened to too many episodes, however, since my wife has started rolling my eyes when I ever I sing the angelic "Security Nowwwww" phrase from the end of the theme music. Keep 'em coming!
