Having created podcasts about pop-culture and games, I wanted to focus more on one aspect of games in particular - their music. Having played games since the early nineties, I've become enraptured by the way that music is used in games; not only to tell stories, but as a major facet of games design as well. I plan to cover both the careers and works of game music's most famous composers, as well as go into more detail about how game music is used when designing a game.Read more »

Welcome to the very first episode of "That Sounds Like Fun"; a podcast all
about the magic of videogame music and how it makes us feel.
In this episode, I wanted to give the show a little bit of context,
without going too in-depth about the nuances of game music. I will cover
the evolution of music in games from the early "beeps and boops" of Arcade
classics such as Space Invaders & Donkey Kong, to the grand orchestral
