Episode Info

Episode Info: Mega Man, developed by CAPCOM and released for the NES in December, 1987, features a robot protagonist that can siphon the abilities of his adversaries. Mega Man is the beginning of the never-ending struggle between the hero Mega Man and the evil roboticist, Dr. Wily. Mega Man is the first entry into what will eventually become on of the most well known gaming franchises in history, rivaling Mario and Sonic the Hedgehog. Many key gamplay elements introduced in this installment will  be seen throughout the franchise, yet each additional installment will add its own flair. In this episode, we discuss the classic that kicked off one of gaming's most well-known franchises. Stephen discusses the pitfalls of emulation, and Chris and Lezlie discuss the pitfalls of challenging them to Smash Bros WiiU or Mortal Kombat 3. Bosco joins us for a bit, and by bit, I mean a teeensy bit. He seemed a bit microphone shy. Or hungry. Click these links or DOOM!
