Episode Info: Hey folks, I am your host Ray and as always I am glad you are here with me today. I appreciate you taking time out of your day to listen to my podcast. I have a fantastic show for you today because we are going to talk about if we should use headphones or not, then we are going to discuss picking co-hosts, and last but not least we are going to talk about a lesson learned with Stitcher. As always I will wrap the show up with some shoutouts to my fellow podcasters and any final notes that I may have. Before we get to all of that, I want to tell you about my podcast host. I recently moved this show and The Adam and Ray show over to Zencast.FM and I gotta tell you, it was the easiest thing I have done so far with my podcasts. They did all the heavy lifting for me and all I had to do was give the supplied redirect to my former hosting site. I figure that some experienced podcasters may say that this is probably not the best thing, because if you monitor you can hear problems up front. I agree with that and surely can appreciate the reasoning that someone would monitor, but it’s something I just do not like to do because I find that I raise my voice too much when I have something on or in my ears. If I raise my voice, I am either clipping really bad, or there is this horrible room echo that I can’t get rid of in post. Of course the fix would be to buy some sound dampening and bass traps for the room, but my budget does not allow me to afford this yet. So until I can either afford a studio or sound dampening a room, I will leave my headphones off for this show. Now notice I say this show. When I am recording an episode of Let’s Talk Herd with my dad, I wea
