Phenomenal backstories of our president
I've never heard a podcast like this one. But wow, am I glad I found it.
Ms. Cunningham's a journalist with a keen wit and knack for story telling plus a great sense of humor. (Check out the blind date segments with Julie Miller, an historian at the Library of Congress who's also witty and highly knowledgeable.)
Ms. Miller and her guests makes our presidents come alive. All of her guests are top flight biographers and historians. The show has sound effects appropriate to the various time periods. There's so much more.
I will listen to the entire series. And I expect to do so again and again. I hope this podcast will be used academically. For we surely need a Civics vaccination with regular boosters lest we forget where we came from, how together we got there and where together we can go as E pluribus unum: Out of many, one.
Ms. Miller, thank you for creating this show. And thanks to the Washington Post for supporting and presenting this very important work.
