Kathleen Frydl is a historian of US political history. As such, she has authored books focusing on institutional development and public policy. Her books cover the G.I. Bill and the drug war in its mid-20th century manifestation. Kathleen Frydl has also written on more recent politics, detailing American Fascism in Donald Trump's presidential campaign, and analyzing the current opioid crisis. We are excited to have talked with her about both of these topics.
