What Your ADHD Child Wishes You Knew: Working Together to Empower Kids for Success in School and Life, by Sharon Saline, PsyD
Sharon Saline, Psy.D., author of What your ADHD wishes you knew and how you can help, presents the voices of children and teens with ADHD as a way to assist their parents in thinking differently about the challenges they face. Then, using her 5C’s parenting approach, she teaches parents effective skills to interpret this information and reduce the stress in their families’ lives.
Dr. Saline is a licensed clinical psychologist in private practice in Northampton, MA where her clinical expertise includes the diagnosis, treatment and intervention of ADHD/ADD, anxiety, learning disabilities and mental health issues for children, adolescents, college students and their families. She has extensive experience consulting with schools throughout Western Massachusetts on mental health issues in the classroom, interpreting psychological evaluations and improving teacher/parent communication.
Dr. Saline is also a part-time lecturer in the Continuing Education Program at the Smith School for Social Work. She has conducted numerous trainings around the country and abroad for educators, psychologists, parents and students where she combines her extensive training in psychology with a background in theater and cabaret.
