Episode Info:

The next several weeks feature collaborations between myself and Mark Nagy. I'm really happy that we found a way to work during the quarantine. I hope you enjoy these recordings.

Cornelius Cardew (1936-1981) composed Treatise, between 1963 and 1967.  It consists of 193 visual scores that can be played by any combination of instruments and interpreted in any way the performers wish.

Just released on BandCamp: pages 25-50 of Treatise here. Featuring pages 25-33 played as one continuous piece and collaborations with Mark Nagy and Mike Shiflet. All in glorious stereo, uncompressed and fit for your finest speakers or your favorite earbuds.

The recordings of the first 24 pages of Treatise are available here: cardew-treatise-vol-1-pages-1-24 in glorious, uncompressed, hi-res stereo sound. Support this pod; throw in a few bucks, add some Cardew to your playlist.
