The book is both a map of the region as well as a framework for the way forward, and essential reading for anyone who cares about the future of our world.

Pankaj Sekhsaria is Associate Professor at the Center for Technology Alternatives in Rural Areas and the Center for Policy Studies at the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay. Sekhsaria is also a long time member of the Environment Action Group, Kalpavriksh.
