One Final Scare
About This Show
Once coworkers, always friendly competitors for the spotlight, Minki Kim and Tracy Mathews share their love of horror movies — and talking over each other — by retelling every gory detail of one horror film each week. Join these creatives by day, novice film critics by night, as they walk through one movie from start to finish with the hopes that listeners will come back...for one final scare.

EP 34: Cargo (2013) LIVE at Woolly Mammoth Theatre
Hosted by Laugh Index Theatre, it's LIT Fest 2018 in Washington, D.C., where comedians from across the country get together to perform various comedy acts in our Nation's Capital! One Final Scare was lucky enough to be invited back for their second year, this time to open for Minki's sketch comedy team. Hear them try to be as funny as possible to make their audience feel like they got their money's worth since only half of them said they were into horror when Tracy polled them with a show of hands :) They discuss the Australian short horror film, Cargo, which went viral after it's premiere at the international film festival, Tropfest, propelling the story into a full feature film format (which you can find on Netflix). And given Father's Day just passed, it's quite a timely moment to cover this touching story of a dad who is determined to get his baby daughter to safety, no matter what...like Zombie mama drama!Read more »

Funny and Entertaining
Minki and Tracy are awesome, they are always laughing and possibly drunk half of the time lol, but they are great story tellers. I love horror movies! but I have no one to watch it with, so I love that I can listen to their Podcast on the go, because ya girl be listening to them at work!
Keep up the great work y'all!
My suggestions for movies to watch:
Train to Busan - Korean
Neang Neak (Nang Nak)- Thai (really old movie but the story line is really good and do some extra research on it, because it's based on a true story)
The Eye 2 - I think this one is Japanese
The Second Woman - Chinese
Audition - Japanese
Dark Water - Japanese
I can't wait for ya'll to watch some of these!

Perfect for late night listening!
I love listening to this show late at night when I'm drawing. It's just the right combination of creepy camp-fire storytelling, funny bantering, and film analyzing to keep me company when I'm up late. It's been really coming together in such a short amount of time and I look forward to listening every upcoming episodes because whether the movie is bad or good or
meh, Tracy and Minki always bring an interesting perspective as they go through the retelling.
