So here we are. It’s late 2018, deadlines to label GMOs have been missed and lawsuits have been filed. Instead of informing consumers whether their foods have been genetically modified, it looks like the USDA is bending over backwards to protect the interest of agribusiness. The delays continue as agribusiness fights the process. The familiar and dreaded GMO term has been changed to “bio-engineered” which sounds so much friendlier and less dangerous to your health.
