As a mompreneur, especially working from home, you are constantly reminded of the things that need to be done in the house. Constantly remind yourself that success is just a journey and not a destination and so you don't have to be perfect. Always thinking that you should be somewhere you're not leads you to comparing yourself with everybody else. Realize where you are at and adjust to what you can or can't do. Quit comparing yourself with everybody else and drop the guilt. Be okay with what's important for you, what your priorities are and fit in the other things uniquely. Do not burn yourself out. This will do you more harm than good. Realize that you can't be all things. Constantly purpose to learn and try out new things. Do not be afraid to make mistakes. Learn from those mistakes and make yourself better. Don't get hang up on perfectionism. Mimika Cooney highlights the biggest secret to a magnificent mompreneur as learning to say NO to some opportunities. Remember why you created the business in the first place. She observes that mompreneurs tend to be very emotional and like pleasing people. Shift your mindset from thinking that if you say NO you will face rejection. Also, do not listen to self negative thoughts. Refuse to think that you’re not good enough. Have a conversation with yourself instead of allowing your thoughts and emotions to talk you down.
