Episode Info: Do you ever think  your child has lost his mind? Does it make you want to lose yours? It's hard as an adult to keep our cool when we get frustrated, but we at least have life experience which gives us the tools to identify what we are feeling and cope with them. Children do not have that and it's our job to coach them through it. In this episode I have a great conversation with Casey O'Roarty of Joyful Courage who is a trained coach in the area of Positive Discipline. We discuss how children cope with frustration, from becoming an older sibling to being a middle schooler, and how we can parent our children through times of frustration. Mentioned in this episode: Casey's blog, podcast, coaching, and E-courses found HERE. Blogpost by Casey "Discomfort May Be the Birthplace of Resiliency" HERE. Dan Siegel's "Flipped Brain" explanation video HERE.
