“You’ve got to aim big, and just have a go, otherwise, it is never going to happen.” – Henry Brydon

Welcome to ‘Ignite your Legend’. Join Kyle Scully as he shares inspirational stories of ordinary people doing EXTRA-ordinary things. A free podcast which will set your inner legend ablaze, by sharing mindsets, actions and habits that will empower you to discover your purpose, pursue your passion and live your dream!

My guest legend this week is the founder of an online adventure hub for weekend vagabonds, inspiring people to use their weekends to explore the world around us. He cycled from London to Sydney, across 38,000 km’s, through 30 countries, and raised over $100,000 for charity. He is Henry Brydon.

Henry first decided to leave his recruitment job to ride across the globe because his life lacked adventure, and he wanted to do something remarkable. Something that would test him, grow him, and give him a good story to tell his grandkids.

His time spent in nature, disconnected from the world, made him realise what is truly important in life and when he finally arrived in Sydney, Henry figured out a way to cram pack his weekend trips with all the adventure of his 38,000 km cycle. He founded ‘We Are Explorers’ to share that knowledge and to allow others to do the same.

We talk about Henrys audacious trip, his time spent in an Iraqi prison, how being surrounded by nature has affected his life, the benefits of delusional optimism, how me turned his passion into his business and much more!

Each week, I am giving away one free copy of the book which changed my life, ‘100 things’ by Sebastian Terry.
