Episode Info:   A couple of weeks ago Simon Mead our Commercial Director was interviewed as part of the Business Bunker Radio Show in Kent.  The chat was wide ranging but was centred around Simon’s experiences as an entrepreneur and what in particular attracted him to not only join the LawyerFair team but also to invest himself. Paul Andrews – the show’s host – was particularly interested in why LawyerFair and what came across was the disruptive nature of the service.  Very much akin to how E*Trade and others broke the traditional “closed shop” stock market in the late 90’s.  Simon went onto to explain how the legal services market is ripe for change and that the existing technologies allow the development of the reverse auction.  Essentially where the purchasing process for a service is made simple and straightforward – in this case getting the law firms to bid for a company’s business rather than having to spend time and money calling round or relying on recommendations.
