The guests on a Woman's View opened up about politics and the recent news on Utah's congressional districts. The women had thoughts on Ben McAdams getting into the 4th District race, the debates in the 3rd District, and more. Then the conversation turned to good news. With all the terrible happenings in the news - pain and suffering and shootings - we need to look for the good. Each of Amanda Dickson's guests shared a good news story and they were wonderful. Andrea Jensen, Environmental Health Educator with the Utah County Health Department, shared a story about a young man who raises money to pay for hearing aids for adults and children. Christine Cooke, Education Policy Director at the Sutherland Institute, talked about the Good News Network and a story about a little girl who used money from her piggy bank to buy milk for other kids in her class who couldn't afford milk. Crystal Young-Otterstrom, Executive Director of the Utah Cultural Alliance, focused on the State School Board considering bringing back the requirement for arts in middle school.
