Episode Info: The Tomorrow’s Visitors Podcast is hosted by Kieran Swail, i3 Innovation and Technology Specialist in Tourism at Southern Regional College (SRC) with assistance from Aoidin O’Connor, Foundation Degree student in Travel & Tourism Management at SRC. Here we reflect on what’s happening in tourism in our region and beyond, review the latest developments in technology and tourism, share learning from our i3 clients and provide our listeners with tips and ideas for improving their business. In Podcast 3 we talk to Richard and Cormac from Visit Carlingford who inform us about why the company was set up, the benefits of membership, the changing profile of visitors and the increase in visitors from Northern Ireland.  In 2014 Richard won the best start-up company in County Louth in the Ireland’s Best Young Entrepreneur competition. Next we speak to Caoimhe Mhic an tSaor from Scullery-made. Caoimhe outlines the origins of the company, shares her passion for food and explains why she thinks beer and food matching is a growing trend within Ireland. She also talks about her plans for the NI 2016 Year of Food and the future of Scullery-made. Peter from Kernan Aviation advises us of a new tour the company will have in place in 2016 - Ireland’s Ancient East and Mourne Cooley Gullion. This flight will bring visitors from Armagh to Kilkeel to Newry, Carlingford, taking in the views along the way. Lastly we hear from the following participants who attended a recent Podcast workshop Kieran & Aoidin recently held at Kernan Aviation: Nuala Saul-Devlin and James from Brack Tours; Kenny Gracey from Forthill Farm; Suzanne Murdock from The Hub; Brian McArdle Copywriter; Sara McGeary from Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon and Raphael O’Carroll from Kernan Aviation.
