BUT what about the fact that anyone can post their opinion online.
Fish keeping knowledge comes primarily from experience, one persons experience might be completely different from yours therefore their opinion is also different from yours. They think they’re right, you think you’re right.
Social media can be the best thing for any hobby but can also be a curse.
Example: Guy (lets call him Rick) is told something at a local fish store by an old guy (we’ll call him Bill) that is also in there shopping. He tells him that fish need time to rest so he turns his filter and pumps off at night. At first Rick thinks this is crazy I mean wont the fish suffocate? But then he thinks “well they wont be breathing as much at night because they’re resting therefore not consuming as much o2 so they should be fine and it all starts to make sense. He sits back and thinks “this could get allot of views on YouTube, I’ve gotta put a video out”
