K2 Class - Education Podcast
About This Show
Show Info:
Currently there is no platform for one educator to easily share his/her knowledge, ideas, strategies, tools and opinions with others. But having such a channel could improve education globally.
K2AV, our company, is the largest technology provider to education - having worked in 3,000+ classrooms and helped 25,000+ students. Our aim has been to grow and improve education from the grassroots. And this podcast will interview brilliant minds in education, at the grassroots level, and will ask the deep questions to unlock ideas, tools, and secrets that other educators can use.

We added two bonus episodes because we always like to over-deliver, and promise something, and deliver a little bit more! ... or maybe we just really like doing this show, so we continued! Our technology based episodes have been some of the most popular, this one is another on that same note. We have the Head of Epson for WA on this show, Nikki Young. Epson products feature in 8 out of 10 classrooms and we frequently see the lack of knowledge that cost schools a fair bit of time, money, headaches and decisions that lead to poor outcomes. This episode is hopefully an upload of knowledge in the audio visual space that will make decision making and purchasing slightly easier. I put Nikki on the spot, with: why schools should consider projectors VS screens, its one of the most common questions we get asked. What common mistakes are made What checklist someone should follow (assuming they have no knowledge in this area whatsoever); and because there's such a wide range of options, how do some schools traverse through this jungle and find what is suitable for their school the future of where audio visual technology is heading how a new build should make better decisions; and basics of projectors. Now, I play the devils advocate to play a completely unbiased perspective. I hope this one helps save your school lots of time, money, headaches and problems we see in this space everyday. And with that, we end our twelve episode experiment. I hope this has been of immense value.
