Welcome back! Over the next few months, we are starting a new series within What Do You Do and How Do You Do It that showcases careers and opportunities presented in America that normally do not get the spotlight. With this first series, we are looking into the branches of the military. We are talking with those who are currently active or recently honorably discharged about their stories and experiences.
In the first episode of this spotlighted series, John sits down with Matthew Haslett from the United States Marine Corps. Matthew has been with the Marines for close to eight years now and has had quite the journey since first joining. The two chat about what it’s like to enlist, why for some people it may be a better option than going straight to college, and discuss some of the lessons Matthew learned throughout his career.
What Do You Do and How Do You Do It looks at varying careers throughout the world in hopes to better understand the many different job opportunities available. This show hopes to help those that have always had the questions but could never find the answers to some of the career pathways that have been presented in the news, portrayed in the media, or talked about through the grapevine. The Podbros Network is always looking for the opportunity to interview people about their careers. If you have an interest or suggestion, please feel free to email us at firstname.lastname@example.org or contact us through our homepage with “What Do You Do” in the subject line.
