Jayson Barrons is the president of the HEMA Alliance. The HEMA Alliance (HEMAA) is a service organization for the Historical European Martial Arts community. It is incorporated as an educational non-profit in order to provide a wide range of services from a stable core whose educational mission is legally bound by open bylaws and democracy. Jayson talked about some of the goals and the projects that the HEMAA is working on and how members can get involved. You can find out more about the HEMAA at http://www.hemaalliance.com/ Jake Norwood is a founder of CKDF and Longpoint. He occasionally runs a combat stress class at various events he attends. This class is designed to help fighters get more comfortable in a stressful situation, like competition, or a fight. We got a chance to talk about what you can do on your own, or in your own group, to get used to fighting at high intensity. Capital Kunst des Fechtens can be found at http://www.capitalkdf.org/ More information about Longpoint, including the Longpoint Historical Fencing League, and Longpoint South, can be found at http://www.fightlongpoint.com/ To add some more community involvement, I'd like to have our listeners record themselves reading the opening and/or closing script to be included in the episode.
