Very good boardgame reviews
I just recently discovered this podcast, and it has been my companion ever since.
Great way to discover about new games, and old classics.
The ways the reviews go is great, no rules details - you have those a lot elsewhere, but comments about mechanics, theme and most importantly, depth os strategy involved, who the game might be for, etc.

My New Go To Podcast
My new go to podcast for board games. This is a great podcast reviewing, discussing, and dissecting medium and heavy board games. I love their two week release schedule and the banter between Edward and Tony is great often with different feelings on the main game they are reviewing. Really helping me find more medium and heavy games to bring into my collection.

I started listening to the Heavy Cardboard podcast a little over three years ago, maybe a half dozen episodes after they launched. At the time, I hadn't completely crossed over to the heavier side of boardgaming but I found that Edward and Tony covered games I had never heard about. And that, to me, was invaluable and interesting. They piqued my curiosity and kept me coming back for more. To this day, Edward, Amanda, and occasionally Tony, still turn me on to new games weekly.
But introduction is just the beginning. Heavy Cardboard provides the most thorough, thoughtful, balanced, articulate reviews and spotlights of boardgames in, what now is the genre of game I almost exclusively play.
In addition to the great audio content they put out, Edward and Amanda have grown an incredible community around their podcast and YouTube channel; I have never felt as connected to a like-minded group as I have with Heavy Cardboard's Herd. As such, I demonstrate my support by listening and watching religiously and by donating every month.
